Gratitude~Day 9

I am grateful that I have been able to spend 35 days here with my Mom in Texas!
Tomorrow I am flying home to GA.  I am ready to get home and see my Honey, the kitties, Sara, Blake and Tiger!
Still it is so hard to leave!  I love my Mom so very much and wish she were flying home with me but she must stay here and continue some medical treatments.  I will be back in January!
I am thankful for Mr. ALC who stays in GA and takes care of the home, the kitties and our lives while I am here!  Thank you Honey, I couldn't do this without you!

Hugs,
Linda

Oh, Linda, I can only imagine how hard it must be to leave. Maybe your Mom really will be able to move closer to you.

How wonderful you were able to spend such good days with her.

Godspeed on your trip tomorrow. Susan

I know just how torn you feel when you leave and how badly you want to go home, I did it so many times - have a good flight!

I was only a week with my little guy, but it's always hard to leave, so I can imagine how hard this will be. Safe travels, dear friend, XOXO

Have a safe trip back home Linda. It's always hard when I leave my mom, but I know it will only be a short time until our next visit.

Linda, at our age, we are extremely blessed to still have our Moms with us.

How good it has been for you to be able to spend this time with your mother!

Also, what a blessing it is to have someone in your life who has been able to "keep the home fires burning" while you have been away.

Safe travels! Nellie

It is hard when your loved ones are far away, but they are close in your heart.

In my perfect world dreams, everyone could live in a big old farmhouse together and be close all the time, but it's just not like that anymore, (sigh), so we do the best we can. Glad you had the time with your Mom, and thanks for the gratitude posts!

Have a safe trip back! It's been a joy reading about some of the things you found at your mom's home -- I hope you'll share more with us from time to time! I love reading your blog, even if I don't always comment. Sometimes I'm just flying by!
