I am grateful for my daughters!
Since I was a young girl my life's dream was to be a Mom....it came true in May 1979 when my sweet girl Ashleigh was born!
She has always walked to the beat of her own drummer and is all the more interesting for it!
Her hair of many colors!
A very bright and curious girl she has grown into a lovely young woman!
Ashleigh works for Google and lives in Cali now.
She is a wonderful Aunt and Sister
and a really amazing daughter and friend!
I look forward to many more times together as we travel and enjoy our unique Mother/Daughter relationship!
(She's the one sending me to Paris!)
(She's the one sending me to Paris!)
My younger daughter is Sara born in 1982
She has a smile that can light up a room
a fun spirit and a wealth of talent
She and her now husband Blake formed a band called 'Gemini Cricket' and played in venues in Athens, Ga and other places...they had great fun!
She is a speech pathologist and works with deaf and hard of hearing children.
Married to her best friend Blake since Dec 2006!
She is the daughter most like me!
The Best Mom to my Grandson
A Joy to all who know her!
I thank God daily for the gift of my girls!

What a happy post!
I am grateful I met you through the magic of the internet.
Daughters are the best friends we'll ever have - yours are both treasures!!!
Yes what a blessing it would be to have children and esp a daughter, and you have 2! My Mom and I were best friends, nothing like a Mother daughter bond.
This is a sweet post, Linda - I am so thankful for my beautiful daughter and my son too!!
Linda, You have two lovely daughters and isn't it wonderful that they are so very different in their own special ways!! I can see each of them in you!!
BTW- If you speech path. daughter ever wants to move this way - therer's always a need for speech paths in Cobb Co. - even working with the deaf! I teach D/HH here in Cobb and have 3 speech/Lang. teachers in my elem. school alone.
Actually - Let me correct myself -- I can YOU in each of them!
Kids are amazing! I have greatly enjoyed watching mine grow up.
Your daughters are gorgeous!
Clearly, you are blessed :)
And your daughters, too.
Beautiful, talented young women, Linda. I know they appreciate that you are their mom. Thanks for sharing about these treasures in your life.
This is such a wonderful post, Linda and both your girls look just like you....lovely, thoughtful and pretty. How lucky to not only be their mom but also their friend.
Sweet tribute to your beautiful daughters, Linda.
You really are blessed to have such beautiful and talented daughters, and they're just as blessed to have you!
Thanks for sharing your lovely daughters with us, Linda.
I am loving your Gratitude month! It reminds all of us to be thankful for the little and the big things.
I too have two daughters, as different as night and day, and I love everything about them! Being a mother is great, and looking forward to being a grandmother (someday...!)
Hi Linda! Oh, what beautiful daughters you have. Aren't our children such a blessing. Yours are blessed with a wonderful mother like you! It's nice to see your pretty face too!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
It is easy to see the good relationship you have with your girls! That is such a blessing! It is the same for us here.
What beautiful and special daughters you have. I love my daughters more than anything. Daughters are the best.

Beautiful daughters! I love how you can just tell what a wonderful mom they had from the way they have turned out. Congrats to you! I am doing the 30 days of thanks thing on FB and gave thanks for my boys today too. Parenthood is such a blessing!
Your daughters are beautiful! I love people who walk to the beat of their own drum. They make for some interesting people. I think I am one of those people in lots of ways
Your girls are SO pretty! The pictures of them made me smile because they really show each one's personality.
Nice post, Linda. I'm sure your girls love their Mom a lot! They both seem like little sweethearts. Thanks for all your visits and comments. Susan
