I wanted to share the cubbies decorated for Thanksgiving!
I'm grateful for the seasons of the year!
Each one offers us a blessing!
Winter with its cold and lovely snow!
Spring with it's new beginnings!
Summer with heat and beauty of flowers in full bloom!
and of course
Fall with it's brilliant colors and crisp days!
Each season also offers us special holidays to share with family and friends!
By using my cubbies to decorate for seasons and holidays it lets me really enjoy each one as it comes along! I gather items for the seasons and holidays all year long. Each display is unique and changes from year to year!
It also allows me to share some of my collections

I'm busy looking in the cubbies to see if I have any of the stuff. I know I have the desert rose pitcher with the bunnies. I think I like that one best.

I am really not much of a fan of a hot summer. I don't mind it being just warm enough for gardens to grow, but I didn't enjoy this past summer's heat. I have really enjoyed this fall! Hugs, Nellie

I love how you always decorate your cubby Linda! I actually keep an eye out at the thrifts for one for myself. I think as I've gotten (way) older, I like each season best too :-) Thanks for sharing this at the party this week. You know, the party doesn't really start until you get there ;-)

My favorite seasons are spring when everything is awakening and fall when everything is ready for a long rest...
Oh Charlie! I was feeling pretty down until I read about your Mom being gone for SIX weeks!! Yikes! Surely, you had it much worse! I wonder though, how ever did you figure out how to open the cans and sprinkle the catnip?!?! Do tell as I may one day need to know.
And to cheer me up even more, well I see that you have a wonderful, and I do mean WONDERFUL oppurrtunity for a good time. I mean really?!? Will ya look at all those wonderful breakable things in those cubbies?!?! Ah, I shall have to share that my purrsonal furrovite is the birds, lovely fat birds ;)

I'm the same about the seasons! Now I'm digging through Christmas, and that's my favorite, LOL! I have found some really cool vintage for this year, and can't wait to show everyone, when I get another camera! Your cubbies are always so great! I'm glad you take time to celebrate all the seasons.
