Thanks for joining Diann and I for
I've had a virus all week and so instead of a new post I thought I would show you some of the dishes I've used in tablescapes and that have now been donated.
Re-thrifting is as important as thrifting!
The first set of dishes is on the chopping block, but are still here. The restaurant ware and the lovely blue and white dishes were donated before I moved.
Some pretty plates in this group...all were donated except the solid green and black plates.
I find solid color plates to be the backbone of my tablescaping after the basic white plate of course!
The orange dishes, most of the Fiesta ware and the Halloween plates are all gone. Often once they are used I just have to let them go. The Fiesta was hard to part with, but it is so heavy and I had to downsize. I still have 'some' Fiesta.
The cherry plates, green plates and white with the flowers are gone. I still have the solid blue plates, the milk glass and the egg coddler.
The set of Federal Blue glassware was also donated.
I still have a closet full of dishes and glassware. I'm still working on downsizing, but it's hard as many of you know. I'm trying to do a tablescape and then donate plates that I don't think I will use again. One of the hardest sets to donate were these fish plates
I loved these plates but didn't use them enough to keep them.
So what have you been up to this week?
