Today is our last summer school assignment for Miss Jenny
We have been studying the colors of the Rainbow and this weeks color is Violet
I'm sharing photos I've taken of my favorite flowers with shades of violet
These beautiful violets bloomed in my yard this Spring
I like them peeking up from the ladder
The next photos are from a shoot at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and the Orchid House in 2008
This is one of my favorite photos
this is the back of an orchid
Thanks for joining me as we end our Alphabe Summer School
Always,
Linda

OOOHHH! The orchids are just beautiful!!! and I love those little violets! I have them growing wild all over my yard each year. Some people think they are weeds, but I love them.
I love your flowers Linda! I had an orchid for quite a while at one time. But I worked with a doctor that was some Orchid PH.D.! Seriously. He won awards for his orchids. I also have had some luck with the African Violets. Nonetheless these are so pretty. Thanks for sharing with me today. Anne
