Paris Brocante Finds!

I promised to show you my purchases from the Brocante I went to on the Rue Cler!

I knew I had to be careful since whatever I bought would have to go home in my suitcase!
I have long loved knife rests, but don't often see them here at a good price.  In Paris I found these lovely glass one's on a table for 1 Euro each.  I only bought two and I love them!
At another table everything was 1 Euro and I found this really charming powder box with a 'silver' top.

But my favorite find was this...
A Quimper bowl for 1 Euro!!  I know it's in horrible condition but that's part of the charm!!  It had a wire hanger on it but I took that off.  I really love this piece and thank my friends Debbie and Sarah for sharing their love of Quimper or I wouldn't have known what this was!
**Sarah says this is a Lug Bowl and used to drink morning cafe!**
This is the perfect Paris treasure!

I'm home and trying to get myself back on USA Eastern time!  Tired but oh so happy to be home!
BUT...my suitcase did not make it here!
GRRRRRRRRRR
REALLY???
I am hoping it finds its way to me soon.  I have so many Paris treasures in it that I will be so sad not to have.  I do have my cameras and photos but still...

I'll be working on posts to share the rest of my amazing trip to Paris with you!

I'm joining with Diann for

Merci Diann for taking care of the party while I played in Paris!

Welcome home, Linda. What a fun time you had. You will be on Paris time for awhile, I'm sure. Thank goodness you have your camera and photos. I hope you do get your luggage. What a pain! I'm sure Charlie is over the moon to see you. Oh, and that Quimper bowl...c'est bon! Deb

Linda, welcome home! Can't believe your suitcase didn't arrive with you again. What airline did you fly?
Hopefully you'll have it soon.
Love the brocante finds. Wow, 1 euro! That is amazing. Your Quimper piece is a lug bowl. The French use these to drink their morning café. It's actually in good condition.
Get some sleep. Glad you are safely back home. I'm sure Charlie is happy his "mom" is home again. '-)
Hugs ~ Sarah

I am so thrilled you are home even though im sure your adventures and time in Paris just flew by! Oh I am sooooo jealous of your knife rests! They are on my wish list of things I have been searching for. Like you, I have seen them but they have been too out of my price range. I am so excited that you got to go to a flea market in Paris! To me, that would have been the cherry on the top of the whole trip!

Wow, nice finds! Gosh I hope your suitcase makes it back to you. Gee you had bad luck with luggage both going there and coming home. Perhaps your suitcase went on it's own vacation!

Always put what you buy and can't bear to lose in your carry on luggage...besides, that bowl may not make it home in one piece, with the suitcase having other things piled on top of it, and the luggage thrown around....

Welcome home! I do so hope that little dressing table pot made it home with you.

Dearest Linda, I am so glad you enjoyed your Paris trip. Seems you have an awesome time and you really did have great weather. Love your treasures especially the knife rests, great swirls on each end.
Our luggage didn't make it with our plane on landing in Paris but was in our hotel room within a few hours. I do hope your luggage arrives on time. I didn't see your posts of your trip but I have gone back and read each of them. Wonderful trip.
