Paris Day Three

Saturday in Paris
We decided to walk over to the Rue Cler and enjoy this famous market street.  It was a busy day and we loved watching all the Parisians buying their fruits, veggies, bread, cheese and oh so lovely flowers!
**warning photo heavy**

First we stopped for a cafe creme and some lemon cake!
The market street was stunning, the color, textures, sights and sounds!
Flower markets
Fruits & Vegetables

I just kept taking photos!
Boulangerie
Apartments above the shops!

Now for the big surprise!
A Brocante on Sat/Sun
I was so excited!
Beautiful dishes!
This booth had all these great lights!
Loved this!
Trying for an artsy shot!

It was very crowded so I only took a few photos, and I was busy looking for treasures.  I bought a few things and I'll share those soon!
Now why didn't I bring my old Georgia license plates to sell or trade?
 If I'd only known!
My cousin who is not a junker, was getting tired after about an hour or so and it was lunch time!!
We ate at Cafe Central on the Rue Cler!
I just love how they bring a bottle of water to your table!
This black & white polka dot top is one of my new Paris purchases!
After some more shopping we headed back to the apt for a rest!
Next thing we knew, it was dinner time!

I'm really taken with these water bottles
We ate at Le Recrutement
It was a balmy evening and we enjoyed our sidewalk table
This evening found me feeling very
Parisian!

On our way back to the apt on the Rue St Dominique
we saw this beautiful sight
The city of lights indeed!

Bon Soir,

Linda

Linda, in all the years I've stayed on Rue Cler, never did they have a brocante in the hood. How wonderful! I love the way the Parisians set up a brocante on the streets around Paris. I've often found some treasures at these little street fairs.
I'm impressed that you are so faithful with your posts. I'm loving seeing all your photos and hearing about what you are doing. Seeing the Rue Cler images certainly made me smile. Keep having fun! ~ Sarah

How funny, I even noticed a Michigan license plate:) So glad you are living it up, be sure to have a glass of wine (or two!) for me!!

I can't believe they lost your luggage and how well yo handled it.

I think I would be gawking every time I walked back to the apartment with that view of the Eiffel Tower.

One of our favorite things to do in Paris, it was July and HOT, was to eat Berthillon sorbet. Expensive, but amazing. One day we ate it twice.

Enjoy!
