I Love Vintage

Can you believe it's March already?  My Azaleas are starting to bloom and if there is sunshine tomorrow I'll take some photos!

I have been pretty lucky lately and have found some great vintage items at the thrifts
I love this black depression glass creamer
for only 59 cents!!
I found this great Pyrex storage container for $1
I'm thinking of storing my growing collection of cute cupcake papers in it!
I think this is a whisk and I paid $1.50 for it
I need to gather up my small collection of vintage kitchen utensils and display them
I didn't need them but could not resist these four amber dessert dishes bought for a total of $1.50 for all four!

I'm joining Suzanne for Vintage Thingy Thur
at Colorado Lady
and
Diann for Thrifty Things Friday

Hugs,
Linda

Are we related!? I know, sister in vintage! Anyway, I can't pass things up for that price...like the amber dishes...I would think, they'd look great in the Fall. Great finds!

What great finds (at great prices, too)! I had a bit of thrifting pleasure myself on Tuesday. I got to visit a shop that is too far away to frequent regularly...found a few "treasures" :)

Linda, that creamer is an awesome find! I love the daintiness of the rim.
The vintage whisk brought back memories. I remember my mother had one of those and used it beat her meringue for pies.

What is it about vintage black glass that is so intriguing? Great find!

It will be fun to see what beautiful settings you use your new amber glass in this autumn.

First of all, I love your new blog banner! And that red wisk is so fun. I have a lot of red utensils that don't match my current kitchen color. I so miss the red, that I have plans to repaint the kitchen.....one of these days. Thanks for sharing.

We all have a tendency to buy things we really do not need. You made some wise choices.

You always find the best stuff. I think the whisk was used to beat egg whites. Can you imagine what a good arm workout you would get, using this whisk to to beat egg whites to a stiff consistency....lol!

Thanks for your nice comment about my new blog header.

Good finds. It is almost garage sale season in my area and there is a small flea/craft market on Saturday (one of two in the entire year). Love the wisk, vintage kitchen tools make great displays. May the sun shine on you today.

Hi Linda,
I love vintage too and I can't believe the finds you always come up with. The black depression glass is wonderful...can't believe you can find so many things for under a dollar. It's snowing here...our first big storm of the winter...so I envy you with flowers starting to bloom...can't wait for Spring!

Sometimes you make me, ME, feel cool. Today's reason is because I display a collection of cute cupcake papers in a 22 inch tall apothecary jar. If you're putting yours in the Pyrex jar, I know I'm cool! :-)
