A Few Vintage Things!

I found a couple of great vintage goodies this past week!

This orphan Pepper shaker is so cute!  I found it at a thrift shop on 1/2 price day so it was .27
These are large stamps with numbers and letters
I don't know what I'm going to do with them but I think they look cool...$1.21 each...did I pay too much?
May favorite find this week was this lovely creamer.  Marked Edwin Knowles and the patterin is Gloria.  I love it and for $1.80 it joined my collection.

I'm joining Suzanne for Vintage Thingy Thursday
Please go by and visit Suzanne and wish her a Happy Birthday.  She is 50 and Fabulous today!
and I'm also joining Diann for
Thrifty Things Friday

Hugs,
Linda

What thrift store do you go to to find all these fabulous things? There are two Goodwills near me and both are not very good...mainly clothes.

Linda....You are not going to believe it, but I have the salt that matches your pepper!!! Now the question is....Do you want my salt? or Can I have your pepper? :)

I agree with Cheri and Sherry now that is too funny! Linda since you too seem to be friends what's it gonna be? LOL!

I love your new header. I purchase 3 things off eBay this week but don't think I'll link up to Thrifty Things Friday. Too much going on here and it's seems that most of the link ups lately are not really about thrifty things but more tablescaping, arts and crafts or vacations. Oh well. I'll show you my pretties later Linda!~Hugs.~Ames

Answers to Cheri and Sherry!

I visit several different thrift store and Goodwill is the worst. My best is Value Village and one called Last Chance that has 1/2 price every Monday!

Sherry I'm giving you the pepper so it won't be an orphan any more!

Nothing is a bargain unless you need it. All your finds are great, but the creamer is my favorite.

I love your pretty creamer! It looks so dainty and sweet. I have a weakness for them and have started a little collection! I always think they are useful, too! But then I forget to use them! heehee!

Oh my. Love those stamps. You did not pay too much. I have one with the small numbers/letters. Oh how I would LOVE a larger font. Must add to my list of "someday I will find this"! Enjoy.

I wish I could bring my change and make it out of the thrift store with the kind of things you find. I have three of those number stampers. Just pulled them out of a box the other day and now I'm trying to decide what to do with them...they work, so maybe I'll just use them.

I don't know..I don't really think you paid too much for any of your little treasures. Not at all.
You could put the stamps in a pretty little bowl on your desk or sit them next to something of the same era. Make it a threesome. The creamer...(I collect them too) is adorable..as is the little pepper shaker. Hmmmm..seems someone has the match. What to do, what to do???!!! :):)

Great finds, Linda! I love that pretty creamer...my favorite, too. Catching up...too much Little League...I loved your gardenia tablescape! I can almost smell them. Here's hoping for lots of rain today to wash away some of that pollen!...hugs...Debbie

Wow, ya outdid yourself with that lovely creamer sweetie!!!

I do soooo remember those stamps and they sure brought back some memories. We had a little country general store owned by two little old ladies. Sometimes they'd let me stamp some can goods when I went in with my daddy! I thought it was the coolest thing ever!!!

I see you and Sherry are gonna have to dicker a bit. You'll have to let us know the outcome!

Have a blessed weekend sweetie!!! :o)

The creamer is my fav! I also loved your post where you featured the gardenias they are lovely! I have peony bush that was given to me several years ago from a student and I think they are my favorite, but gardenias are a close second and I am crazy about hydrangeas too!
