It's Spring and everything is in bloom around here!
Sounds lovely doesn't it??
Not if you have allergies!
Today's pollen count in the Atlanta area
8100
Now I know why I've had headaches lately
Still it is beautiful and so here are some photos of my blooming yard! We have just added cedar mulch to the island in our front yard and a birdbath.
The azaleas are blooming. I have a rose bush and some butterfly bushes in this area also
Pink Azaleas in the side yard
This one white azalea is pretty against the brown leaves
The sun was bright but I am hoping one of you will know what kind of flower this is
I found these Dogwood tree buds and thought they were so interesting
Playing with my camera is always fun
Guess I'll be doing some work here soon
Need to get the potting bench cleaned up and ready to plant something new for the deck garden!
I hope your pollen isn't giving you headaches and that your Spring brings you many flowers and much Joy!
Hugs,
Linda

Your yard is pretty! I am right there with you on the allergies. Don't know what the pollen count is here today, but must be over the top.
Yellowish/green on everything.
Allergies are horrific right now! Good grief I've already been suffering for two weeks. I want my winter back!
Linda, your home is so pretty! Your yard is beautiful!! I just found out today I am alergic to most anything. I get a lot of headaches and just generally feel fatigued. My doctor said the tiredness could be from allergies.
I hope you feel better soon sweet friend.
Your pretty flowers are from the narcissus family, like paper whites and daffodils (don't know which one exactly). They look great! Sorry to hear about the allergies, I know them all too well-take care:@)
Everything looks so pretty in bloom in your yard!
Hope you feel better soon...allergies are terrible.
Azaleas? WOW!
I love their flowers and I'm so glad to see them in bloom in your yard!
Hugs Valerie XXX
It's getting to the time of year when Claritin and I are best buds. It helps me get through allergy season in one piece. One pill at bedtime, and I'm good to go.
Some sort of Narcissus, definitely. Many of these late varieties are fragrant.
You house looks a lot like my grandparents home did who lived near you. I think they lived on Canary Court in Lithia Springs.
What a lovely front yard, Linda. Loved it! Oh, that little birdbath is terrific, too. Nice job! Susan
Happy Spring! Love your pictures!
Our pollen count was around 700 today and it got up to 84 degrees-20 degrees hotter than usual. I don't want summer in March! Hubby and I went to Reflection Riding and I will be posting photos soon! Have a great week and thank you for always reading my posts, your a doll!
Linda,
Your yard looks just lovely! I love what you've done with the island. It's kinda yucky north of Atlanta too. Beautiful but pollen galore!
Beautiful yard my dear! Happy spring!

I love this weather!!
You are way ahead of us as far as blooms but we are enjoying Spring weather. Your island is gorgeous. It must be lovely to look out at the birds in the bird bath. Deb
You have a beautiful home and pretty flowers. I don't think I've ever noticed dogwood buds...how interesting. Enjoy your week! Happy Spring!
Oh Linda, Your home and yard are so pretty!!! Bet you can't wait till Tiger is playing in that yard:)

I woke up with a headache. Usually its the barometric pressure. ~Ames
Sorry you are having problems with allergies, Linda.
Your yard is so colorful...yes, the flowers are narcissus. I think I like them better than daffodils!
Hi Linda,
Thanks for the visit and follow today! Everything is blooming here in South Carolina also. Luckily, I've only been sneezing quite a bit-no headaches. Thanks heavens we had a good rain today to wash away some of the pollen.
Jane
Your yard and flowers are beautiful Linda. I need to get my potting bench cleaned up too. Thanks for the inspiration:-)
Such a pretty yard!
This is when I have to close my windows to keep tree pollen outdoors. My nose runs...even with Claritin by day and Benadryl by night. :-)
Your front lawn is just beautiful! I am just beginning to see buds on our shrubs, which is way to early in northern MN. Strange weather we are having. Those dogwood buds are so pretty!
Hi darling, hope your headaches are better, this season promises to be full of allergies. Your home is so warm and inviting. What a beautiful spot you have to look at each morning. I'll have to check my one loan bush to see if it has any blooms yet, your's is gorgeous. hugs ~lynne~
I completely understand. I wake up stuffy every morning. Your azaleas are so beautiful. I used to live in Wilmington, NC and the azaleas there were unbelievable.

Beautiful garden! OMG you have me longing for spring. It's only just hit here and the bulbs are up; but I've a feeling that Ole Man Winter isn't quite finished with us yet!
But soon, soon!
i love seeing your home! i guess you don't really show the front much-it's so cute! we need to mulch, too. and plant. oy.
Yes, I wake up with a headache every morning now. I just saw on the news yesterday about the pollen count in Atlanta. I would be sick as a dog! Your yard is looking so pretty all in bloom, and I must say that your potting bench looks so neat already, compared to mine. I'm a very messy gardener!
Your yard looks so pretty and springy. Happy first day of spring!
your flowers are so beautiful...love the big display of pink ones sooo pretty...sorry about your allergies...Mr. S. used to have then all of a sudden they just went away...lol
Bless you....So sorry about your allergies!!! Your yard is beautiful with all its pretty flowers. I know you enjoy spending time there in spite of your allergies. Our azaleas have already bloomed and are fading fast. This has been a very early spring for us.
along with spring does come allergy season.
Those flowers look like daffodils to me.
Your yard looks great
The pollen is killing me here and I don't think it's hit full force yet. I was thinking the flowers are some sort of fancy daffodils? Just a huge guess though!
Allergies....I know them well. Not fun! So many pretty photos - lovely!
xo Catherine
Linda, your blooms are bursting aren't they and unfortunately so is the pollen! So sorry to hear that it is so bad! I am heading down to see the Cherry Blossoms in DC this weekend and hoping I don't sneeze and wheeze!
Your little potting bench will come in handy all spring and summer! I have one too and love it!!!! What a great old window! It give the area so mnuch character!
