Welcome to week #119 of
Diann and I are always so happy when you join us!
As you know I'm not doing much thrift shopping since I'm 'downsizing'...but...
It's hard to stop looking and of course when I look I usually find a little something I need!
I just had to have this cute little Rooster!
A nice bright spot in the new kitchen for $1
I've been doing a lot of summer reading in the evenings and was in need a few new books, so of course I go to the thrift shops
I found five books and the total was $2 for all!!
So what thrifty thing have you shared this week?
Please go over to The Thrifty Groove and link up your posts!

DARLING little chicken!
Love the rooster, Linda.
Saw one today myself and didn't buy him.
Now I'm sorry. BOooo hoooo. Susan
Cute chicken to brighten up your new home!
Just love buying books that way, but my stack is taller than my reading time allows. Looks like yours is too Linda. Love your cute rooster. Thanks for co-hosting.
Oh! I love the rooster! Also, I could really enjoy those books! Good finds, Linda. xo Nellie
I love the little chicken and I know you love to read!
Your little rooster is very cheery, and that's a nice selection of books. Today I chose 2 books for free, from Amazon, in their Amazon Vine program, so that is thrifty too.
Love your rooster and yes, thrift store books are the way to go.

I need to go thrifting with you.
I went to a thrift shop yesterday looking for a piece for the entryway and they wanted $300 for a cheap old dresser.
Linda,
Thanks so much for hosting and thanks so much for always stopping by! LOVE this sweet rooster!!
Hugs,
Debbie

Cute little chicken! I found a beautiful French country style vase with chickens on it yesterday at GW...my husband dropped it and broke it on the way to the checkout!
Love the colors on your chicken!
What an adorable little chicken and looks like you found some great reads too! Awesome deals...:) Enjoy reading!

Love me some thrifty little finds! I found a nifty little raccoon collar for $5 and some old post cards for 50 cents each!
Terri Blackstock is married to a friend of mine. I love her Cape Refuge series. Her Restoration series is great also. I'm sure you'll love it! Love the chicken!
That chicken is super cute and so bright and happy! And let's face it, for us readers, thrifting books is the only way to go!
