It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I have a couple of my trees up but still need some decorations on tables and doors. Hopefully in the next few days I will get that done. I've have not been in the thrifts very often lately but here are a couple of things I found last week, Every item was under $1
I love these mugs and buy them when I see them in good shape in the thrifts
These are S & P shakers but I love the faces and will use them as decorations in my cubbies
Pretty ornament in blue
This is the cutest book and is signed by the author. I will be snuggling next to the tree reading this soon
I got excited when I found this ceramic boot. It's vintage and very cute
Dated 1958 and made in Japan
I have found a few other things, but they are gifts! I think I will take some photos of the gift items and do a post after Christmas to show you what great things you can find to share with friends and family.
So what have you found lately? Be sure to link up your post not your blog and please put a link in your post back to this party so others can join in!
Happy Junkin,
Linda

Always love seeing your nice finds.
It has been to cold to get out and treasure hunt here lately - but then I need to use some of the things I already have.
Thanks for hosting again this week.
O, if I lived close to you, I'd have to arm wrestle you for that vintage Santa boot. I've looked high and low for an olden one like this.
I am just sick that I didn't link my post up with you when I found my little pottery barn thingys this week. In fact, I'm not sure I even KNEW you had this meme. I will write it down for next time.

Linda you find such sweet deals at the thrift stores. I thought of you when I found a pair of perfect little bears with Christmas caps on for $1.98 at the thrift store. They were perfectly intact with there little stoppers and everything! I must put them on my blog very soon. Anne
I'll stand in line for that ceramic santa boot too. Looks like that is the most popular this round!
I got to link up 2 different posts this week, guess I'm on a thrifty roll! ;) Thanks for hosting!
Very cute finds. I am still working around the house and have not taken time to blog lately but hope to be back and playing along soon.
Had our first major snow last night so I have to add shovelling to my to-do list.
I love all your thrifty finds! Especially the cute little S&P shakers! I think I have a boot very similar to yours but for the life of me, I cannot recall whether it has the holly leaves and berries. I guess I will find out this weekend when I finally get a chance to get out my Christmas decorations!
Thank you for hosting this party!

The Santa salt and pepper skaer are just soooo cute! Love the boot too. You find the best treasures! Hope you have a fun holiday.
The salt and pepper shakers are just wonderful. I am sure they would be too tempting for the little ones, love their cute expressions. Fabulous finds! All I ever find is junk. I think it depends on where you live too.

Hoping to link up next Friday...fingers crossed I get some time for me!! LOL

Seriously cute stuff, Linda. Of course I'm partial to anything with red in it, so most Christmas stuff is appealing to me.
You have some really good items here...love those S/P shakers! Thanks for hosting.
Blessings,
Linda
Good day to you, Linda!
Oooo... that little boot from 1958 made in Japan... that's a great find. I think those must be difficult to find. I jump on things made in Japan in the 50's. I have some tiny Raggedy Andys Made in Japan that my Grampa brought back for my Grandma not too long after WWII, I do believe. They're actually filled with folded pieces of a Japanese newspaper. Your boot is a terrific find, Linda.
I also just love the Santa Salt and Pepper Shakers and the Blue Ornament, which also looks like it's a porcelain treasure box.
Enjoy your signed copy of A Cat's Christmas. That's another wonderful find.
Hugs to you and have a wonderful day today!
Susan
