I was looking at my big tree (yes I finally go it up) and I have lots of red ornaments. So I'm sharing them for Rednesday and the linky party Share the Decor.
This cute mitten was filled with Godiva Chocolate and was a gift from my former boss a few years ago
Of course the chocolate is long gone but the mitten adorns my tree each Christmas...thanks Steve!
This reminds me of the ribbon candy we use to have as kids
I got this at a craft show several years ago, it's made from a can lid, a very talented crafter painted this...I have a snowman also but he is green so not in this post.
I made this cross stitch ornament in 1986
I found this ornament at a yard sale for 10 cents, I like that it looks 'older'
This ornament is very modern
This was one of the ornaments I bought for my daughter Ashleigh, she was about 2 years old
This was also a decoration from my girls very early years
My daughter Sara made this bird ornament last year using some fabric my Mom gave her and I really love it.
This ornament is new this year! The Atlanta bloggers had an ornament exchange and I got this fabulous Gnome.
This beautiful candy dish with Cardinals was a gift from a blogging friend Sue at Rue Mouffetard it contained her homemade coconut chocolates...yum!
It is sitting under the Christmas tree and oh yes, Charlie is there also...he does love this time of year...trees... with skirts... for him to lay on!
I'm joining Sue at It's A Very Cherry World for
and
Sherry at No Minimalist Here
Always,
Linda

I just LOVE the lid/Santa! That is so creative!!!
Very pretty red ornaments, Linda. Thanks for sharing. Susan
How nice of Charlie to keep the tree company!
All your red ornements are cute, but I have a soft spot for the mitten!
My tree is not up yet and not even bought....scary!
I love all your ornies... I have to say the birds are my favorite. I think putting chocolates in mittens is a good idea. I may borrow that one.
Blessings~
Gwenny
I vote Charlie is the BEST ornament on the tree ;-)
I love hearing about special ornaments. I like your cross stitch and Charlie. Very pretty!
Enjoy your Rednesday!
Hugs from Florida
sara's bird was my fave...until i saw that gnome! need! glad you finally got your tree up-we've decided it's not getting done this year. my sweet cat loves to lay on the skirt, too! oh well-not this year for her.
Cute ornaments and you know I love anything red.
What a cute idea to spotlight your red ornaments. I've plenty of those here. Maybe I'll be a copycat and do the same for next week.
Hope you have a wonderful holiday! ~ Sarah
Beautiful red ornaments. I especially like the cross-stitched one.
Happy Holidays!
sweet ornaments thanks for sharing them an Happy Christmas...mica
Linda, you have quite a collection of red ornaments...love the bird your daughter made and the gnome is too cute!
Your red ornaments are very pretty Linda. I am like you in that my ornamnetds all have a "story" behind them and my favorites are ones I bought my children as they were growing up. Happy Rednesday!
Beautiful ornaments, Linda~ love the gnome!
Love all your red ornaments. My favorite is the cardinal. Love the gnome one, too.
Great vintage and not so vintage ornaments!
I am loving your merry redness! Especially the little horse with the scene inside. I WANT ONE! My kids would LOVE that. I'm sure your daughter adored it.
My redness post is here:

All lovely ornaments, my favourite is the swirling one that looks like ribbon candy.
gorgeous ornaments - the kitty is my favorite!!
A very nice assortment of ornaments. What makes them so neat, is the meaning behind them.
Such darling ornaments and I adore your birdie candy box, so lovely! Charlie looks like he agrees. :)
Happy Rednesday,
Sally
Hi Linda! Simply charming ~ love it!!!

The gnome! The gnome! Oh, how I heart your gnome!
Your ornaments are so cute! Thanks for sharing them!
What a wonderful assortment of Christmas Red, and I also love the painted lid. I always try to get out to the craft shows over the holidays and pick up a couple of special ornaments made by local artists. So much more fun than fighting the crowds at the Hallmark Stores.
(Not that I don't love Hallmark.)
Looked back and saw your kitchen tree and just have to tell you how cute it is! You can always tell who loves to cook, they always have a tree in their kitchen. Makes perfect sense to me!
Merry Christmas!
Wonderful ornaments. I have two of those rocking horses with the snow scene inside - My children got them when they were little. The snow scene no longer works on either of mine. The chocolates in the mitten is a wonderful idea! laurie
I really miss having a kitty to sit under the tree, and get the skirt full of hair! Christmas just isn't the same without a kitty. Love all of your ornaments, but especially the birdie that your daughter made. Handmade ornies are the best!
Happy REDnesday!
Carol
that cross-stitch ornament is so lovely (they all are!) isn't it great and so, so special to look at your christmas tree and see the memories through the branches? i just love this post, and your blog. happy new follower:)
Very nice 'red' tree Linda girl. So pretty. You have the nicest decorations.
I took pictures of my tree - forgot to put them on a blog!

Hi Linda! Thanks for checking in on me and the baby news and sorry I didn't get on the computer for a while!
I love your ornaments-it looks like you have been busy!

Linda, I think Charlie is your cutest ornament! I cannot believe my cats have left the tree alone.....SO Far. thanks for visiting, your right, I did not want to admit it, but the less decorating I do, the cleaning up I do!
Carol
Looks like Charlie has his eyes on the cardinals! Lovely reds.
What a nice gift from Sue, I really like her. I love red mittens..and you have so many darling things on the tree, how fun! Have a great week! :D
OH, I didn't get my nativity post up! I wasn't thrilled with any of the pics and ran out of time. This little red post is so cute. I agree, it is such a fabulous color and it really photographs incredibly well. You have such cute red ornaments. I too am fascinated with the ribbon candy ornament. It is just gorgoue and so real looking.
We had a gorgeous cat named Charlie too while we were growing up. I love him already.
I love the little gnome and of course the cardinals.
I love Charlie best of all! He looks like he's waiting for you to go away so he can pounce on those cardinals!
Two cats I had years ago loved the Christmas tree too, they spent their whole time lying underneath!
I think that everyone that has a kitty, finds them under the christmas tree this time of year. I know it is my cat's favorite spot. I love the red's today and I am glad that you liked my Santa. He has been getting a lot of looks. I wanted to let you know about a craft project over at Flea Market Style http://junkcamp.blogspot.com/2010/12/salt-pepper-angel-project.html They are making angels out of salt n pepper shakers and I thought you would like it.... with all your orphan shakers. Enjoy your day.
Love the red ornaments....especially the sentimental ones. They are all beautiful! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
All of the ornaments are pretty, but I especially like the older looking one. What a cute idea to fill the mitten with chocolate! I'm stealing that idea!
What a nice collection of beautiful ornaments, Linda! And I love seeing Charlie under the tree! Mine love the tree skirt, too! Merry Christmas!...hugs...Debbie
Linda, You have a beautiful collection of ornaments and Charlie seems to be enjoying the tree. Thanks for sharing this at my party. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
