THE BEAUTY OF WHITE

I had several requests for another photo of the mini soup tureen from this post
The detail is really amazing on this little treasure

It is White Wednesday and again I had some great thrifty finds
A nice hobnail bud vase for 50 cents
 and these
Napkin rings at an Estate Sale

I was excited to find these two egg coddlers
at the same Estate Sale for $1 each

This white planter is unmarked
For $1.25 I liked the shape
These caught my eye and for 50 cents
Four shell napkin rings
This beautiful milk glass fan vase was at a
yard sale where everything seemed overpriced
Finally a man said make me an offer
so I got this for $1.50
It is in beautiful shape and I love the design
A wonderful addition to my Milk Glass collection
I am joining FADED CHARM
Please visit and check out the many wonderful Whites!

Always,
Linda

Your thrifty finds are so nice, I love the hobnail vase. I have not had time for much thrifty shopping but I know there are things out there for when I get the chance. Great deals!

Wow! You get great deals. I went shopping myself today and will share that in a post soon. I went to this great little Antique store with booths. Actually, it is where mine used to be. Sometimes, if you look really hard, you can find some really great deals. I got a tin with roses on the front, I little miniature hat box, a plate and a cute framed postcard. My friend that was with me bought it all for me...cause it is my birthday week. woohoo!

Beautiful whites! The fan vase is a wonderful piece. I went to an estate sale last week and couldn't believe how high all the prices were. I guess I'm used to my garage sale prices!

Hi Linda, Thanks for stopping by and your sweet comments. The small soup tureen is a treasure. Love the egg coddlers too. We got some for a wedding gift (33 years ago) and you've made me wonder if I can locate them - perhaps even make eggs in them. You found some great things - isn't thrifting fun?!!
Hugs and blessings, Beth

Linda! You are my friend hein?
These are really unusual pieces that you found!
Love them all! I would like to try to go sometimes to those estate or the auction sales. Always afraid that they will ask too much. But these are gifts from the sky!
I kind a understand your love for those egg coddlers, but I haven't seen one yet!
It's amazing how many different types and shapes of Milk Glass that could be outthere!
Thank you for sharing your goodies!

I love that white planter and the milk glass, but I never would have known that those things with the butterflies on them were egg coddlers! I don't even know what those do, actually. But they sure are cute!
Happy White Wednesday!
