SEE MY FLOWERS GROW

I am joining in with TOOTSIE TIME
for Flaunt Your Flowers Friday!

This is my first year to really grow some flowers and plants in containers on my deck.  I am enjoying it and learning every day.

If you remember from my last  post I had one of my plants die....it looked like this

I cleaned it up and replanted this
A pretty white Begonia
I'm happy with it and it is doing well

Now for how the other plants are doing
These continue to Bloom and Grow
The Zinna's are doing well and tolerating the heat
A couple of new plants in this corner
This cute garden decoration is a Birthday Present
From my Friend Melissa
Pretty flowers in the shady part of the deck
And one of the tomato plants has
It's first little bloom!  I may have tomatoes yet!
One last photo
Wishing you a wonderful Friday!
Always,
Linda

Your plants are doing great, there is nothing more gratifying than when you pick a tomato off that plant you have nurtured.

Hugs,
Melissa

See they just needed some TLC from you and some water and bingo you got an entire flower shop on your deck. Rotate your pots in the direction of the sun if possible as that will help ensure even growth all around.

It takes a brave gardener to show a pot of dead plants! All of your plants are beautiful.

Linda-Your pots look great! Everybody has at least one of those dead pots :) Is that sweet potato vine I see growing? I couldn't find any this year. No blooms on our tomatoes yet--but my husband checks daily :) Love your darling birthday present!

The plants you have in the shade are Torenia or Wishbone, since you are in Georgia if you put some in the ground they might reseed for you next year. Be careful though, I'm in North Florida and I have had them returning for 4 years now...your containers are very pretty.

Love your plants and flowers! The yellow and the orange ones ~~~ those are zinnias, right? I love zinnias but for some reason yours look like a different variety. I don't have flowers on mine yet, but I started them from seeds.

Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful space you have provided for yourself. I love the color of the potato vine. I have a pot of dahlias that isn't doing too well... maybe I'll replace it with a begonia.

Linda,
Your plants and flowers are doing great! I think you have been successful this year! We did not get our tomatoes out on time, guess I will just have to buy them at the mininite farm, 20 lbs for 12 dollars, not bad!

Linda, I have a container garden, too, but yours is the bomb! We have had such wretched heat here in Middle Georgia, some of my plants are suffering in spite of my TLC. Your photos are great, make me want to start adding more to my blogs.

Oh, and thanks for stopping by The Red Sweater. Hope to see you again soon.

Linda, your flowers look beautiful. Your deck must be a wonderful place to sit and enjoy all of the flowers. I have one tiny green tomato on one of my little vines, and I just hope I get it before the squirrels. Have a great weekend. laurie

Hi Linda! Your flowers look great. I have alot of plants in containers. If it holds dirt I will put a plant in it. I like pots because I can move things around when I feel the need.
Have a great weekend!

Linda you are quite the garden queen! I love your flowers. I am having some trouble, my middle name, with my camera again. I was posting pics and I can not bring up my tulips. I will try tomorrow when my brain is awake!

Your flowers are awesome. I like the replacement begonia! Very beautiful

Happy weekend! Anne

Wow, Linda, you've got yourself a green thumb! Everything is stunning. I love your sweet potato vine. I wish it was a perennial here, but it's too cold. Your new garden ornament is so cute! The begonias are beautiful, too. Good luck with the tomatoes. It looks like you'll be getting some soon.
