I have cut back on thrifting since I need to be taking things out of the house not in!
However there are some things when I need them I look at the thrift shop first!
Tiger is now 17 months old
(I know!!! How did that happen)
and growing like a weed, so clothes are something we look for at the thrift shop. On my last visit Sara and I found lots of t-shirts, shorts and jeans for Tiger. I forgot to take photos but we got a good bit for our money!
One of the things we usually buy new is pajamas since they are hard to find used...these came from the Carter's outlet in Houston
This pair was bought on sale at The Children's Place
Notice how serious Tiger is when choosing his books. This child loves his books and Grandma brings him at least one book each time I visit!
Thrifted of course! These are so easy to find and usually only .25 to .50 cents each!
How cute is this face?
Tiger and I always try to take a walk when I visit!
He is very good about staying on the sidewalk!
I have been looking for a riding toy for him and I finally found one in good shape at the thrift store
Look at this cute Fisher Price ride on bus!
It has a horn, plays music and he can ride or push it! Look at the price!
Only $3.99!!
I can hardly wait to take it to him on my next visit!
I did find a few things for myself
I could not resist this cute 'watermelon slice' bird house for only $1.97
and of course books! Grandma likes to read also!
Those are my latest finds!
I'm joining Diann at
and
Honey at Potpourri
Hugs,
Linda

I love Tiger's little guitar Polo - it's so cute....
Too cute! What a great reason to thrift!
We love that you share Tiger with us.
Books are my great downfall. Even when I know I can not read all I have in THREE lifetimes, I can't resist a good title, especially at a great price.
What an adorable wee face! Not to mention a great reason to go thrifting!
17 months old already! Wow!
You always find the best things at thrift stores. I need to shop with you! lol I have read the book Summer at Tiffany. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
The power of the thrift shop is great, isn't it. It pulls us in, whether we need anything or not. All those lovelies, at such great prices .... all of which we need, of course. It's hard to cut back.
Since you're shopping for Tiger, cutting back really isn't necessary. You scored some really cute stuff.
We seem to live in the Bermuda triangle of thift stores here...there is nothing.

Our daughter, Kelly's best friend has nine children! I have always loved hearing how she thrift shops and finds the best stuff for her brood. You reminded me of my own family, passing down clothes from sister to sister, then granddaughter, and finally great granddaughter. My mother sewed the most beautiful clothes for us and I'm proud we "re-purposed" and never felt like we did without. I'm glad you got something for yourself too, Sister, XOXO
He is so cute and getting so big. I have Leila today and over night. She will be 2 next month. Tiger looks like he is as big or bigger than her. I bet he will love that riding toy and Leila loves books, too.
He is just so stickin' cute Linda! I just want to squeeze those sweet cheeks! 6 weeks until I get to meet my Grandson!! I cannot wait!!
You got some great deals. It is good to find toys like that, since they are so expensive new, plus they outgrow everything so fast.
I am staying out of many stores now days also - need to finish decluttering.
Tiger is 17 months old? Wow, how time flies. He's such a cutie! You thrifted some amazing things!!!
Love the little outfit and pic of him walking down the sidewalk! Such a cutie-enjoy:@)
I tell you what - you got some great deals! I loved them all and I know Tiger will too!!!!!!!!!
Tiger is so adorable, Linda. He really is growing. Thrift stores and consignment shops are definitely the best place to get clothes for the kids. They grow out of them so quickly. Glad you got yourself something, too.
Hugs,
Laura
OMG, Tiger is growing up so fast...what a cute little guy!
What fun things you've found lately! It's nice to have others to shop for! I shop for my sister...and she shops for me, too! Love the books yu have to read...and the children's books, too! Hugs!
Hi Linda...Ohhhhhh, Tiger IS a darling. I cannot believe 17 months have gone by. Holy crow, I remember when you announced his birth.

Tiger is getting so big! What a cutie! Fun book finds for him. I don't think Lia has ever gotten a brand new book from me or Troy. LOL It just seems silly when thrifting them is so cheap. and I know what you mean about PJ's. I don't understnd why they are so hard to find thrifted. I donate Lia's to the thrift store when they are too small and I am sure others do as well. I just don't get it! The riding toy was an awesome find at a great price too! Thank you for joining TTF this week. Have a fun weekend!
Tiger is adorable!! That first photo looks like YOU!!!
Having to go back and catch up!! MIA during the week!
Linda, Tiger is so cute!! I am so jealous of you, he is such a sweet little boy.
Tiger is adorable. It seems yesterday that he was born. I know you just smooch him up when you get there. He is gonna love that little bus.
Thanks for sharing the love, Ginger
All great finds, Linda! I always appreciate the inspiration you share at Potpourri Friday!
What a cutie~ I see all the cute toys, but my Grandkids are a little older now. Guess I'll wait for my daughter to give me a baby someday!
On that bus is so cute! The thrift store has lots of great values for the lil ones. Love all the sweet shares!
