I love fall! The colors and smells after the heat and humidity of summer!
One of my favorite fall things is
MUMS!!!
I love the colors and abundance of the blooms!
This is the 3rd year this plant has come back and bloomed for me!
This mum was bought the other day at ALDI supermarket and for only $2.99
Now that cooler weather is here I need to get out and clean my deck
and weed my planters!
I'm joining Claudia for

Mums are wonderful. I was just looking at some today - haven't bought any yet, but I will!
Thanks for joining in today!

Our Aldi did not get the mums, I was so disappointed :( I am just drooling over the bakers rack in your header, it's just stunning! Wonderful fall inspiration!
Cheers, Andrea
Planted some mums today myself. Love the season!
I love flowers Linda - they are one of my favorite things too. Good price.
Oh, Linda.
Love your headers, too, and your mums are SO PRETTY.
I have a mum post coming up in the next couple of days, based on a visit to that farm stand I visited in today's post, so keep tuning in to my blog, too!
Love your visits. Susan
Linda, you mums are beautiful!
I was thinking of getting some mums but haven't yet. They are pretty and hardy.
We just got ours..Chris chose burgundy and yellow.

PS I didn't know you could plant them...don't think they would survive our Ontario winters.

They are beautiful Linda! Mine are just starting to bud.
I'm with you Linda!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Fall!! I bet I've already told you this?
That's OK -- hahaaa - I still do :-}} Love your Mums too!! I joined MockingBirds Sat. party too!
Mum's the word! Can't wait to get mine planted out; autumn is here, yay!
Your mums are beautiful! I love mums, although I haven't bought any yet this year. You're lucky yours come back, I have no luck with that at all!
Mums are always a favorite fall memory for me. I remember when I was in college and going to football games and there were always lots of mums. Yours are so pretty! Have a great weekend my friend.
Big Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
I love mums, too. We haven't gotten ours yet. Probably the first of October :)

Congrats on the mum that keeps coming back Linda! I've never had much luck with that. Both are pretty colors-enjoy:@)
These are gorgeous! How lucky to have one come back for you. I'm seeing them on porches now... yes, it is fall again now for sure. :)
I also enjoy the mums - wished they lasted longer. Have not been to Aldi in a while - need to check them out.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Looking forward to those fall colours too. I decorated my front porch this weekend for fall.
Also look forward to those smells and flavours of fall ----- pumpkin and spices!
Have a terrific Sunday!
I've planted some and the colours are just magnificent! Besides the asters, they really do herald in the fall season. Enjoy your beautiful weekend, XOXO
Your mums are so pretty. I just got some yesterday at Wal Mart. I always think of fall when I start seeing mums. Beautiful pictures.
Judy
I too love mums. They come in such cheerful colors.

Love the mums, they really speak "fall" to us, don't they! What a great price at Aldi's, wish we had one around here. Hugs ~ Mary
Hi Linda, This is exactly what we have planned for today--buying and planting the mums, and cleaning up the deck of all the old plants. I don't think we will find them for 2.99, unfortunately...you were lucky! We will use yellow, red and orange, with just a touch of the purple. Linda
Linda I have had mums come back too. They are not my favorite because they do not last (bloom time) long enough for me. I always say I am not going to buy any then end up buying them anyway because they are very pretty. LOL! I move them out to the yard after they die off and that's where some have ended up coming back. We are on the same track right now. I just power washed the top deck last weekend and bought pansies on the way home from work yesterday. Redoing my pots today. Have fun with your fall spruce up too!
Your Aldi mum is a beautiful color. I never thought to stop there for flowers, but they sell everything else, so why not!
I never thought to keep mums from year to year. I may just have to try it with the ones I purchase this fall. Love the orange and yellow colors for fall!
Your rust orange just oozes fall! You must pluck off the blooms before July 4th! Mums are my favorite too! Your post is festive and full of fall!
Hi Linda such pretty colourful flowers.it's so soothing to see them.we are plant lovers too.thank you for dropping in and to leave a nice comment. sujatha....
Beautiful pictures Linda. I have a pot of Mums, but it's still so hot here and they don't like it:-(

Beautiful mums! I broke part of my mum in my display messing around with it! You got that new one for an excellent price! I planted three new ones yesterday.
How I enjoyed your beautiful blog with it's Autumny header! Your Mums are so abundant, so spectacular!
Thank you for sharing!
Blessings,
Carolynn
I love them, too. Nothing says "fall" like mums...well, except for pumpkins!
Cindy
Lovely! I usually plant mine when they're done blooming and they start coming back in the summer. Then I cut them back and usually get three or four blooms from them. Nothing says fall like mums!
Gorgeous, as usual! Hope to get some soon! Right now, I have some fake ones stuck here and there!
Your Mums are just so beautiful, Linda. I agree that they bring such beautiful color to the crisp Autumn days. And there are so many varieties! I think they're one of my favorite things about Autumn, too.
I love the mums. Wish I could have gotten some before the cold weather came here. This is a spectacular post!
