I'm home!
It feels so good to be home! I slept well even if Charlie was on top of me all night...he was afraid I might disappear again I'm sure! Mr ALC is also glad I'm home....so today while I rest I thought I would do a post about the Antique Mall I visited while I was in Texas.
This was a fun find! A wicker rickshaw!
Only a couple of thousand dollars!
This display caught my eye....Pyrex and vintage ceramics oh my!
Oh be still my heart....I love this
A mere $795
Oh so cute vintage Flamingo S&P's
I love this vintage bar....
More vintage Flamingos
These are so gorgeous!
Whoops...'gorgeous' price also!
Who doesn't love a pink cow creamer
It's a bad picture, but I love this cute pink Veronica glass...I loved Archie comics growing up!
I love this creamer! It's made by Shawnee and had a large price tag on it
The matching S&P....I have these that I found thrifting....now if I can just find that creamer for a bargain price!
This was photographed through the glass case so the color didn't come out great...but I love this wonderful dresser set in a sweet pale pink
Vintage Flamingo planter
Love it!
Cute little Birthday angel
Some great vintage ornaments
Pink & White Cowboy boots!
Ya gotta love Texas!
It was a fun afternoon and a way to escape some of the stress in Texas. I did buy one item, can you guess???
Everyone that guesses correctly will be put in a drawing for a fun

I have a set of these Publix grocery store S&P's
I love them and would love to send one of you a set!
So make your guess by Monday 11-14 and I will put all winning names in the hat and choose a winner!

NOw... those PINK and WHITE cowboy boots have my name all over them. Funny, I was looking for some like that before leaving for Asheville. I settled for beige ones : (

What a fun place to visit!
So good to hear that you're home safe and cosy. There's really no place like home, is there?
Glad you are home. I envy you this experience. Wow, I love those cowboy boots and flamingo salt and peppers!
Thanks for your comment on my new post!
Namaste..........cj
Whoa Chickie! What fun... Oh how I wish I was there to check all the hoopla with you..... My daughter had a pink flamingo room when she was a teen. We found tons of vintage things for her... I didn't realize they'd gone up so much. She's going to be heartsick that she got rid of all of that stuff.
Glad you're home!
xoxoxo
Nice strolling through the mall with you! Vintage and more vintage...cute!! I guess the vintage Christmas ornaments came home with you!
Yep, ya gotta LOVE TEXAS. Sure enjoyed browsing the antique mall with you. Somehow, I think you have a thing for Flamingo's. I'm going to email you a cute cartoon I found the other day. Happy Pink Saturday....Sue

Always a fun way to spend a day...I love the vintage ornaments! I am guessing you bought the cow creamer!
Too rich for my blood! I just left Texas.

Glad to hear you're back home and getting the rest you need. Charlie and Mr. ALC must have both been so incredibly happy to have you back. Rest and take good care of yourself while you're home.
Fabulous antiques mall... reminds me a bit of the one out near us... just enormous and wonderful. I've gotten lost in it a few times which only means that I had more time to put more things in my cart. Oh dear...
Sending hugs and love,
Susan
I can imagine how happy you are to be home, again! There is nothing like your own bed.

Hi Linda! I'm so glad you're home now. Rest up! You deserve and need it! I'm going to guess you bought the flamingo S&P set!
And, I love those adorable Pilgrim S&Ps from Publix!!
Cool things Linda. I love the $295- Flamingo's just not the price. And the old ornaments, now those I could see on my tree. But I think I am really liking those cowgirl boots. Oh yea!~Ames
How much was that cow creamer? I'm pretty sure I saw the exact same one today at the Salvation Army!
Home Sweet Home!
and "There's No Place Like Home"
Rest and Relax..I image it's been a "hard" trip for you.
Take care. Fun to see shops in other states.
Warmly,
deb
I am sooooooooooooooo glad you are home.
Now I love that fainting couch and the $295 flamingos. This was a expensive store! Had some really love things.
sandie
I'm guessing you bought the pink Veronica glass. And love all those flamingos and the vintage ornaments!!
What "great" treasures!! Girl I have the kitty pitcher, salt and pepper shaker. Are you telling me I have quite the treausre??? Loved the vintage ornaments!! Thanks for your sweet comment about the Open House, it means the world.. hugs ~lynne~
Goodness! That brought back some memories...I had one of those panthers on the TV as a TV light growing up. Did it's eyes light up? Ours did. They used to say you would damage your eyes if you didn't have a light near the TV.
How cool! Loved your photos.
Ruth
Welcome home, Linda.
Well, let's see now. You couldn't have bought the rickshaw (too hard to get home on the plane. ha ha)
The fainting couch, too, was too large.
I'll guess the flamingo Salt and Pepper shakers.
If it wasn't those, perhaps it was the Veronica glass.
Okay, I'll go with the flamingo S&P shakers. Susan
I would have bought the pink cowboy boots but you....you SO bought those flamingo salt and pepper shakers.....I would bet money on it....
Welcome home Linda! Looks like a fun antique mall...I'm guessing you bought the Veronica glass!
Jane
I say the Vintage Ornaments =)
GREAT boots!!! Love those flamingos too!!! For 25 years now...I'm still trying to find the perfect room to put my MIL's PINK FLAMINGO LAMPS...they been in the attic for all r=those years...hoping gaining value:)
Blessings,
Linda
Those flamingos are just amazing! Looks like a fun visit Linda:@)
Love the flamingos and the fainting couch.. thanks for sharing with us! Thanks also for your visit.. xo marlis
I would also guess for the Pink Flamingos salt and pepper! They are really cute!
Cool stuff Linda. I have never seen so many flamingos in one place. I loved the pink cow too.
So many pretty finds! The flamingos are pricey. I would need to have a display case in my house to protect them from people and animals alike!
I am guessing you had to have found a flamingo at a reasonable price. There seemed to be an endless supply there.
I also visited local antiques shops this weekend. One was stiff, dull, but the other was fun. Great variety, while not at my prices. I will go back to see what I should be dumpster diving for.
I'm guessing that you bought the flamingo salt and pepper set! But whichever item you bought, it looks like you had fun deciding! Funny about Charlie sleeping on top of you!!!
i'm gonna guess that you bought a piece of pyrex, or something with a flamingo that was not 200 bucks. yikes!
glad you are home with mr alc and charlie!
Hi lovely lady.
So happy you are Home I did miss you.
I also love the flamingos! You need some big buck"" in this shop.
I would like to thank you for coming over to my new tablescape and put a sweet comment in for me.
I hope you have a great week.
XXOO Diane
