The Thanksgiving is put away and it's time for the Christmas decorating to begin!
I am so glad I spent the time last year to organize and mark the contents of my bins. It will make it so much easier this year. I can't wait to show you some Christmas decorations...but until then here is a little peek at something I bought while in Texas
Oh my more dishes! But not just any dishes...
Christmas dishes!
Place settings, four
Blue, red and green
Dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, bread plate and mug
Sakura Santa's Retweet by Debbie Mumm
The salad plates have different Santa's on them
I have two of this design
and one each of the following designs
Notice the cute little birds on each of the Santa's?
I found these at the thrift shop and didn't buy them since I knew I could not them home. But then could not forget them so I went back on Monday and they were still there and 25% Sr Discount...my final price for this set...$7.50
Love them! I decided it would be worth getting them and they can stay at Mom's until my next visit when I will drive my car. I will miss doing a tablescape with them this year but could not resist these at such a great price!
Sharing this for Seasonal Sundays at
The Tablescaper
Hugs,
Linda

Linda, these are so cute, and remind me of Twitter! Yet when these first came out Twitter wasn't even invented. Yet there is the bird and the word "retweet" - cool. xo
What sweet Christmas dishes! I have yet to get any of mine out- too busy with my trees! Why do I think I MUST put up seven? Obsession, I guess! Hope to be done by the end of the week. OMG, I better hurry- time just seems to get away. Three down and the rest to start. yikes...
Oh, those are adorable! And what an amazing price! Having to wait on them a bit will make them even more special when you finally use them.
What a fun Christmas it's going to be for your family...that sweet little Tiger will probably be enthralled with all the Christmas tree lights.
Love,
Patti
Hi Linda! Oh, I love your new little Christmas dishes! Love the trim of the little trees around the edge. Isn't it easier when your stuff is marked? I try to do that too.
Can't wait to see your tree!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
They were meant to be yours! I'm so happy they were still there for you, and what a deal you got. Now you can look forward to a tablescape with them next year.

So cute - I feel your pain about leaving dishes behind - but more than once I've dragged them on the plane!!!
Hi Linda,
What a wonderful buy you got...and such adorable Santa's. I know what it's like to leave a store and then keep thinking about something you didn't buy...so glad you went back for the dishes. I've missed your blog and am so glad to be back. I'll be thinking of your brother and hoping things are going OK for all of you.
Hugs,
Cheryl
Hi Linda,
These plates and mugs are soooo cute!! My sister is a big Debbie Mumm fan. :) She gave me a cute Debbie Mumm snowman bowl that I always put out during the holidays.
Thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind comments. I hope you have a great week!

p.s. I can't wait to see them on your Christmas table...and to see HOW you put it all together..:) That is what I meant to say! LOL
Thanks for your nice comment today. I see you are starting to have some fun with Christmas decorating. Me too. Enjoy.
Oh, you are very brave to leave those adorable dishes & not use them this year. I would probably have paid a fortune & shipped them home, which would totally have wiped out the "bargain" price you paid....lol! Sniff, sniff...they will be lovely next year.
Your Thanksgiving table for two was just perfect. As excited as I am about decorating for Christmas, I was very sad to put away all my Fall things -- all my favorite colors. Looking forward to seeing what you do for Christmas!

My Christmas dishes are Debbie Mumm too...actually both sets are. Yours are soooooooooo cute! And I have table cloth envy. For real.
Those are so cute! And I love Debbie Mumm stuff, so they're doubly cute. Something to look forward to for next year. xoxo
