As this day comes to and end I wanted to say how Thankful I am for all of you!
Today was a quiet Thanksgiving for Mr ALC and myself...I will be seeing my girls soon
The cubbies for Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving table for two
I re-worked the fall centerpiece by adding my Publix Pilgrims and a candle
The place setting
I started with these chargers I found in a thrift store
I love the raised edges.  I placed them on place mats  I found last week for .50 each
I added green plates I have used many times before
and the new thrift store terra cotta plates
Then a pumpkin plate
Topped with a green bread plate and a turkey
Lots of layers but hey, it's Thanksgiving!
The rim shot as Marigene calls it
I love these napkins found last year on clearance
and the Pier 1 napkin rings from a thrift shop
The silverware is Mr ALC's family silver
I used my square footed green goblets and added a small bowl for bread & butter
We had Turkey, cornbread dressing, snap peas, rolls and cranberry sauce
My turkey platter was found on clearance at TJ Maxx last year.
I am happy the table came together easily this year
Before I blow out the candle and end this Thanksgiving I want to say how much all of you mean to me.  I started blogging for fun and never ever dreamed that I would find such amazing and loving friends.  You have all enriched my life more then you will ever know.

Happy Thanksgiving, Linda! It sounds like you had a beautifully cosy day, with a table set to perfectly reflect the season. After all the travelling your've done lately, you must be very happy to be celebrating the holiday at home.

When I was feeling sorry for myself on Thanksgiving because no one invited us for dinner and then blabbed about it on Facebook, I received several comments from FB friends who were also spending the holiday sans friends and family. I guess that's the way it is these days, what with everyone spread out. So, like you, I decided that two people can celebrate the holiday just as well as a herd and prepared a feast! And the best thing about the day was that my husband was sooooooo happy I did it!

I think you needed a quiet, enjoyable day after all life's stresses and changes lately. What a beautiful table. I would not use so many plates (thinking of having to wash them by hand later) but then, seeing your previous post! Very thankful that you not only have a collecting addiction but you put your plates to use in such a wonderful fashion. (And really are doing good for others when you buy them.) Thank you for sharing.
