Pretty In Pink

I am setting another table in pink!
Last week was Tickled  Pink
this week....Pretty In Pink
Since I love Pink so much I have collected many plates and accessories over the years.
I used pale pink placemats, white chargers, pink plate with an awesome dotted edge and these vintage Rose plates.
The Rose salad plate is by Homer Laughlin distributed by Cunningham & Pickett Inc
Hand Painted pattern is Dubarry (Rhythm)
I added my parents wedding silverplate by Rogers & Bros in the Starlight pattern from 1950...it's as old as I am!
A pretty pink napkin and these adorable napkin rings I won in a giveaway!
Pink goblets from CSN when they were doing all sorts of giveaways!  Love these so much!  I also added bread plates with a white heart ramekin on top.  These were found at a thrift and still had price tags on them from Crate & Barrel
I really wanted to use roses for the centerpiece but as it's almost Valentine's Day they are at a premium price everywhere.  So I picked some Camellias from my front yard and love how they look!
I used the only piece of pink Milk Glass I have to hold them.  Using a glass frog helped me arrange these very top heavy blooms
The bread plate is too pretty to cover with the heart ramekin
but I did!
It is made by Paden City Pottery and I think the pattern is called Old Rose...goes so well with the Dubarry!
A few votive candles and the table is perfect
I hope you enjoyed my Pretty In Pink Table!

I'm joining Pink Saturday with the wonderful Beverly at How Sweet The Sound
and
The Tablescaper for
Seasonal Sunday

Hugs,
Linda

Linda,
Where ever do you live that these beautiful flowers are growing in the winter! Love your Pretty In Pink tablescape! Each plate adds the perfect touch to your table, but my favorite is the dinner plate with the pok-a-dots!

Wow, your tablesetting looks great, Linda. Those rose dishes are SOOOOOO pretty. The camillias are just as pretty as the roses. Yeah, know what you mean about the prices going up, up, up for V day. Take care. Susan

Linda you know how I love pink (smile) and your table is just beautiful. I love the reminiscences of your parents silver. I think that always makes a table special. It is all so soft, lovely and inviting. The pink napkins with the rings are so pretty too. Love it all!

Thanks for coming to my blog and making a comment on my pink. I can see we're two of a kind.

Hugs,

Nann

Mom had some of these rose plates. But not a full set. I guess some were broken or she only had a few to begin with. Come to think of it, I don't think she had a full set of any of her dishes. Maybe the Currier and Ives. I do remember several serving pieces of those. Hummm. Wonder where they went to?

Love how you pulled the tablescape together.~Ames

Okay, so I know you aren't expected me to like pink, being a ferocious manly cat, but....well you know I think I could deal with this....actually I think I kinda like this...and Charlie and I would MOST DEFINITELY like the pretty in pink table setting if you would be so kind as to place one can of tuna on each plate. It is Valentine's Day tomorrow.....hope you have a great one (even if we don't get any tuna).

Purrs!
