Thrifty Pink Table & A Winner

Today I'm setting a table using my
Tickled Pink Dishes
I showed you my plates on the wall here
I have only one of the solid pink plates but four of the plates with the design so decided to use them for the tablescape.  These pottery dishes are by Vernon Ware a division of Metlox.  This pattern was produced from 1958-1965 and was available with pink speckled serving pieces.
Pretty in "Tickled" Pink
I started with these very Pink placemats
Added the Tickled Pink plate and topped it with a pink heart bowl found on clearance at Michaels
The pink and white napkins are Swell by Cynthia Rowley also found at a thrift shop
The bird napkin rings were bought on clearance from Hobby Lobby
The white handled flatware was another thrift store find
A matching Tickled Pink cup and a water goblet
A simple place setting for breakfast
The centerpiece is a Primrose in a large coffee cup
Over time I have found these matching serving pieces.  Sugar, Creamer, Salt & Pepper and a divided serving dish all in the speckled pink
I found this Tickled Pink salad plate the other day for 35 cents.  I added some bananas and orange slices to the table.
I found this pink LuRay plate at the same time also for 35 cents...used this plate for some yummy
Cranberry Orange muffins!
Some butter for the muffins
A nice breakfast on a sunny February morning!

What a sweet pink table with your vintage plates. Are they melamine? They look similar to something my grandmother had back in the 60's. Hers were blue.
I would certainly enjoy a muffin and some fruit with you! I could use a little pick-me-up right now- I've spent the day ironing. Not one of my favorite chores! ick....

Lol we used the same pink bowl. I got mine for .25, if you say you paid a dime I'll spit! :)
Very pretty, love the cup with the primrose. I haven't bought any yet. They are really thrifty as we can plant them outside and they come back to smile at us year after year!

What a darling Valentines table!!! Saw this on Pink Saturday and just had to run over. Your pink bowls from Micheals caught my eye as I've been looking for pink heart shaped plates/ bowls etc. everywhere this year with no luck. And to see you got them on sale just blows me away. Oh well...maybe I'll find some after Valentines. I Had not been here to your blog before and it just delightful. So I am now following you.

I'm admittedly not a 'pink' girl, but I love anything that is well pulled together. Pulling things together is one of your gifts. This is way cute!
