I love plates! Vintage plates are my weakness! I will buy one of a kind at the thrifts if they 'speak' to me. But what to do with these...a plate rack is perfect! You can show plates by color, theme or whatever is pleasing to your eye!
In January I choose 4 plates of the same pattern
but for February I'm doing a month of Pink
So here is my plate rack now
I have chosen 4 plates with Pink in them
These top two are from a set of dishes by Vernon Ware called "Tickled Pink"

This is a restaurant ware plate from Syracuse USA
I have found a couple of other pieces in this pattern also
This restaurant ware plate is also made by Syracuse China. I love the Pink on this plate!

thank goodness for blogland...I finally found other women who adore plates the way I do. I have so many of just 2 or 3 and my daughter is always shaking her head at me...she obviously missed that gene. Love those pretty pinks!

A plate rack is a great idea! I love your pretty pink plates. It makes me giggle to see Syracuse China in places other than here. I always thought of it as being local only.
There are so many plates to pick from - it must be hard to decide what to bring home.... Your plate pics are always nice...
