It has been a beautiful Spring here in Georgia.  Our yard has bloomed and the birds have been visiting.  We even have a nest of Hawks high up in a tree in the wooded area behind our house.  We have been trying to spy on them as they hatch and grow!  So much fun!  In keeping with the bird theme I re-did my cubbies and collected my bird collection from around the house.  Hmmmm...larger then I remembered...oh well hope you enjoy!

That is a lot of birdies!
All these birds were thrifted or bought on clearance
All of these were thrifted except the lovely Fenton Glass bird I won in a giveaway from Vintage Christine
Some of these are orphan S&P shakers so they are a double collectible for me
This vignette was created from clearance items bought at Michael's
The tray is Couroc Giftware from Monterey, CA found in a thrift shop.  The other bird decorations are from Hobby Lobby on clearance.
The yellow bird is from Michael's and the other items were thrifted
(remember the Blue Bird of Happiness?  It helped me announce that my daughter was having a baby)
I am very happy with the cubbie display

These birds are scattered around the deck garden
The Red and Blue metal birds were clearance from
Dollar General last fall
This was a Birthday present last year
I try to keep some water in it for the birds on these hot days
Dollar Tree bird

Hope you enjoyed the birdies....

Grandma had an awesome sidekick! I think he is sooooo cute. Cute as a little bird. Love your bird collection. Sometimes you don't know you have a collection until you put it all together. Looks great. Hugs, Ginger

What a beautiful collection of birds! I love how they're sprinkled around your home as well as in the display case. Your grandbaby is just adorable, too. Can't believe how quickly he's grown! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Linda,
I love how you are always changing the cubbies with your collections. The bird collection is so sweet and pretty. I love how they look in the cubbies.
Love the garden birdies too.

And of course, your precious little Tiger. You aren't spoiling him, are you? LOL!

Gizzie sends kisses back to Charlie too. How does Charlie like little Tiger?

I love your birds and am especially fond of the realistic ones. Your "sidekick" is pretty cute too. He's already growing too fast. (Of course, I don't have to get up at night with him.)

Oh I love you little side kick - I remember the shirt! He is a doll!

And I love your birds - I know you love them too - and these are the best kind for inside the house!

The birds are great - wonderful display you`ve made. Now, your little guy - well he`s the cutest! That hair and those eyes - you must want to be with him every day.

That last little bird named Tiger was definitely the cutest! :-)

I'm late visiting from my post last week (still recuperating from that old injury which has kicked up again), but despite my tardiness, I still wanted to thank you for your sweet comments. I appreciate them and you more than you know. Thanks for sharing your heart and your own experience. It meant so much to me, Linda.

Linda, that's the largest collection of birds I have ever seen! But they're all cute and as I like birds, very decorative, too! I love hearing the songbirds on an early spring day. They're so happy the weather is warming up and they are excited about nesting and raising a bunch of little ones. I miss them in winter, and always take delight in hearing of their return to my yard!

Oh, gosh girl, you really have your birds on today. They are all so cute and especially gathered together and in that cute cubby. Love that!!
Everything looks wonderful and my favorite of all?
YOUR SIDEKICK....!! :)))

You always display your collections so nicely--mine just sit around and gather dust. Before I read what was underneath the photo, I spied that little Fenton bird and thought, "Hey, that looks familiar"--and it looks so at home with all the other birdies. My Fenton cat collection would LOVE to come visit your aviary, ha ha!!!!!

Hi Linda, I l-o-v-e your flock of birds and how you have them clustered together. Nice to "see" ya. Cute little sidekick you have there ;)

Tiger is adorable! Love that hair. I enjoyed seeing your flock. You just reminded me that I have some birds that I had purchased last year on clearance that I had forgotten about. Just have to figure out where I put them!

Your birds are all lovely, but I'll take that little 'tiger' any day.

I love all your birdies, but the cutest is that little Tiger-bird. Don't you just love me a grandma? I know you do!

I do really like how you grouped your collection together, I think it makes such a nice statement when I see this done. Nice job!

What a great collection! I am loving little owls at the moment, trying to do the nursery with them, but somehow Zebras are popping up everywhere! and little monkeys :)
