Here are some of my latest vintage thrifty finds.
All came from thrift stores.
I 'think' this is a Verde pattern #503 1-1/2 qt refrigerator dish without the lid. It was only $2 and since I love Pyrex...home it came
This vintage tablecloth is in pretty poor condition but I love the colors
And the pattern so for $1 I am taking a chance it will clean up or it can be used as a cutter piece
I love vintage cookbooks and have quite a collection of the
Betty Crocker series
These remind me of growing up with a Mom who loved cookbooks and would read them like a novel!
I was excited to find these pieces to add to my small but growing collection of this pattern called Sussex. The plate was 75 cents and the bowls were 2 for 70 cents
I have slowed down on my milk glass collecting unless a piece is unusual and this one qualifies. I love the design
since it looks like Lilly of the Valley to me and for $2
I added this to my cart
**This was made by Westmoreland and the only Lily of the Valley piece they made according to my research**
Thanks for taking a look at my Vintage-Thrifty items and to see more visit these two parties I'm joining this week
with Suzanne at Colorado Lady
&
Diann at The Thrifty Groove
Hugs,
Linda

Good afternoon my friend. You have some nice pieces on there - I love the green and blue colors and patterns - you get the best deals - great eye! Had fun yesterday!! Lots of fun.
The milk glass vase was very unique, I've never seen that pattern and the glow through the rim makes it special. Thanks for sharing.

My mother also collects cook books to sit and page through rather than try the recipes. I remember the Betty Crocker series well.
Love the green fridge dish, mine is orange. Fun vase, I'd love to see it with lily of the valley in it!
Earl is safe from the B-B-Q... for now:@)
Terrific finds! Love that Milk Glass Vase! So pretty! I'm a sucker for vintage cookbooks, too. Great deals! I hope that tablecloth cleans up for you, it's such pretty colors! Thanks for sharing.
Wow Linda, you have some really great finds! I especially love the Verde 503, and the vintage tablecloth!
You hit the jackpot!!! Of course, I love the Pyrex fridgie but I'm digging the tablecloth and your Sussex china. Who makes it? It's new to me!
I want to go thrifting with you! You find such great things. I love the tablecloth.
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who reads cookbooks like they're novels!
wow, that milk glass is really different! i've not seen anything like it. love the table cloth colors, too! great finds. i just went to my fave thrift store during my lunch, but there wasn't anything i had to have. i actually showed some restraint!
I love the colours on the table cloth too - such a great find as is all your goodies. Scarlett x
Betty Crocker Party Cookbook! Was it lit with a divine glow? Or maybe a birthday candle light glow? Great finds!
A very nice assortment of thrift finds.
The milk glass vase is really pretty...I don't think I've ever seen any with Lily of the Valley design. I have one dinner plate in the Sussex pattern hanging in the hall with a few other brown transferware pieces.
Beautiful milk glass vase! I also like to read cookbooks like novels. I bet those Betty Crocker cookbooks are especially fun to read.

Oh def Lily of the Valley! So pretty! Love the dishes too!
All fun finds Linda! I would have snatched up the tablecloth too. The colors are so unique and the design is wonderful. I have been cutting back on the milkglass too. Unless it is unique like you said or it is something I think would work great for a redo to be sold. Thanks for joining TTF. I hope you and Mr. Have a great Memorial weekend! And Yay to being able to comment again!
"A La Carte" has been included in this weeks Sites To See. I hope this helps to attract many new visitors (not to mention customers!) here.

Those Betty crocker cook books are adorable. Love the little vase too. It reminds me of a plug in scentsy sells, and I just ordered it. Have a great weekend Linda.

Oooooo! That Lily of the Valley vase is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time!
And it reminds me that I need to go out in my Mom's backyard and see if her little Lily of the Valley plants are blooming yet............
I always love seeing what you find. You have good thrift stores in your area. I especially love the Westmoreland piece. The lily of the valley is so sweet. I would say you got a deal on that one. Hugs, Ginger
