THRIFTY THINGS FRIDAY THE 13TH

It's been a bumpy ride on blogger but they appear to be back up.  I'm joining Diann at The Thrifty Groove for her Friday party.

This week I've been really trying to stay out of the thrift stores but 1/2 price day called to me on Monday and here is what I found.
It's a cupcake...no it's a tealight holder
This will be so cute on a tea tray or used for a Birthday party
and only .50

I love pottery planters and have a large collection, most of mine are green so this lovely Turquoise one grabbed my attention
I love the black in the glazing...no makers marks but for $1.35 this is a great score!

Who wouldn't love this little piggy?
It's an Orphan S&P to add to my collection and only .25

These cute S&P's are Easter Eggs and for .50 I had to pick them up
Along with this cute candle
the price .69 @ 1/2 = .35

These next items came from the super cheap thrift store that I stop into occasionally

I love bud vases and most of mine are milk glass so I could not resist this pretty green one for .25

I need more glasses like a hole in my head but these were calling my name for some reason...maybe the cute design?
So for .50 a glass I bought them!

I hope you will go over to Diann's and check out Thrifty Things Friday

I'm also joining Laurie

Hugs,
Linda

Oh, Linda, great job on your finds. Two of my pre-written columns disappeared so I'm not able to join in the party today. Next week for sure! Take care. Susan

Blogger had us all off schedule this weekend. Maybe it has to do with Friday the 13th.
You are not having any bad luck. Your glasses look perfect for ice cream sundaes.
I have a soft spot for unpartnered S&Ps too, but then it steams me when there is a set and the thrift store prices them seperately!

The cupcake is so cute, it could totally start a tradition that one day will cause hissy fits (where is the cupcake? It's my birthday I get the cupcake!!) but the turquoise planter is just awesome (and the piggy - he really was begging to come home with you).

Argh to Blogger today - wasn't even going to post, then thought up something about why Fri the 13th isn't unlucky -finally got it up this afternoon - what rotten luck!

Blogger made me SO mad, because I'd been trying to post since 5PM yesterday, but then I realized that these things happen. I'm always afraid that we could lose our entire blogs!
LOVE that cupcake candleholder!

Looks like another successful thrifting trip.
My last post disappeared, so was hesitant to post today.
Enjoy your weekend.

I like your cupcake candle holder Linda! I had one made out of wax that I'd light on each B-Day, but it burned down and eventually had to be tossed. Cute pig:@)

Every time I see what you get for next to nothing, it makes me want to get over to our GW, but they're way too expensive.

Linda, the thrill of the half-off day is too hard to pass up...and good thing you didn't! You found some very cool stuff. I would not have been able to leave those adorable glasses behind, either, even though, like you, I really don't need any more.

I like your green vase and those cute egg shaped s&p's. Great finds!

You always find wonderfully cute things. At what point in the storing of them do you have to begin getting rid of older possessions to make room for the newer finds?

I love that bowl! The color is just perfect. The tealight is so cute too and will be great for tablescaping. I didn't miss blogger being down a bit and enjoyed having free time knowing I wasn't missing anything since we were all on bloggy break. LOL! I don't like that I lost several comments to my post though...oh well..next time..maybe! :))
