I was helping one of my best friends Terry celebrate her 50th Birthday! So I hope all is forgiven.
I'm going to share a old post I did all about Blue
BLUE MONDAY - ATLANTA BOTANICAL GARDEN
Today I'm posting some photos I took last year at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Such a fun place to visit and different flowers blooming all year long along with great fountains and other displays...

Created for the Atlanta Botanical Garden in 2004, Dale Chihuly's Levy Parterre Fountain Installation is a one-of-a-kind sculpture in blue and white, interpreting shapes and colors of water, ice and sky. A captivating assemblage of twisting, brightly colored glass, the sculpture sparkles in Levy Parterre Fountain, where it is especially lovely lit up after dark. See it sparkle from a whole new perspective, the top of the recently renovated Alston Overlook.
This is one gorgeous fountain! My photo does not do it justice.
One of my favorite spots in the gardens is the Lilly Pond
The reflections are so pretty and the blue's are beautiful!

Oh, I like your new blog title background. Very pretty. And I do like the blue glass sculpture at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Gorgeous. It reminds me of a glass artist my mother likes so much and for the life of me, I can't remember his name. Oh well. :-)
The water lilies are so magical looking. I've always wanted a pond and lilies in my back yard and spend the evenings listening to the frogs serenading one another.

Linda, that fountain is amazing! I'd love to see that in person. The lilly pond is so pretty. I always think those lillies are too pretty to be real. They look like somebody threw flowers into the water! Have a great weekend. laurie

Gorgeous blown glass. Is it Chihuly! The color is exceptional.
So pretty Linda! I especially love the deep blue water and Lilly pads are some of my favorites. I'm sorry I missed out on other colors of the rainbow this summer. I think I need to do some blog reading here;)
