Junkin Finds 2-13-15

I've had a busy week between taking Mom to the heart Dr and also staying with Tiger several days while he has been sick with a cold!
I still have a few items to share with you.
I found this great light to use on my craft table...
$3.50 and I love it!
I stopped into a Goodwill near where I get my hair cut and saw this lamp base!  Its hard to tell but it's pink and so pretty and only $3.99...it has a shade that isn't the best but usable until I find another one.  Perfect in my bedroom.
I am still picking up jars for my craft room and for .25 each I couldn't pass them up
This little bulletin board was also .25 and will be used also in my craft room
Tiger will love this new space ship pillowcase next time he spends the night and only .25
These books were .50 each.  I'm reading 'Big Little Lies' and it's pretty good.  I love the Cranberry series of books and this was a great addition to my collection.  You can never go wrong with a reader!
This Tiara Jack and Jill glass isn't in great shape
But worth .59 to me
A pretty little glass creamer/pitcher .25
This sugar bowl was in the free box and I had to save it

My best find in a long time is this
This Bordallo Pinheiro soup tureen was $4.99 at the Goodwill and I couldn't get it in my cart fast enough!  I love it.  Now if I could only find some bowls or plates for a great thrifty price!

What have you found lately?

Wishing You JOY,

Linda

Don't you just love GW, I find the best things there, and it's always a surprise not knowing what you'll find! You really scored some great things, and I'll have to look at the jars for my craft room!

Your thrift stores have "cheap" prices!!Hope your Mom & Tiger are feeling better.
Happy Valentine'sday.

I've not been "thrifting" lately, so I've not found much at all. DH found a really good buy in a small filing cabinet that has proved to be very helpful when we went before Christmas.

Hope all is well with your mother, and also that Tiger has improved!

Stay well!

I know I've mentioned this before, but I sure wish our Goodwill prices were as good as yours. What a deal on those lamps and all your other goodies too. I hope Tiger is feeling better. Happy Valentine's Day to you.

Great finds, love the lamp and the covered dish is amazing. Everything at my Goodwill seems to be overpriced and/or broken. I gave up going there.

I got some linens yesterday, will post my finds soon. Happy Valentines Day!

You got some nice things, Linda. Loved that pink lamp base. That is really pretty and would look gorgeous with an old-fashioned fringed shade! Susan

i loooved big little lies, though i noticed 4 typos which is totally unacceptable and therefore must be underlined. in a library book. i can't help myself, i need the next reader to know they aren't alone in finding the typos. moving on...that retro lamp is awesome. hope mom and tiger are ok!

Hope Tiger is feeling better...and that you don't get what he had!
Love the lamp you are using in the craft room...and that little tureen is my favorite find! I have found several single pieces of BP at thrift stores...that is how I got started on my rather large collection.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

What fun finds! I especially like the jar with the tin lid.....and the pillowcase looks fun.

I haven't been thrifting much - trying to weed out a bunch of the stuff I already have and figuring out if I have room for one more thing :)

Hope your mother is OK & Tiger, too :) Happy Valentine's Day.

Jack and Janet - I haven't seen them in a while. Love the tureen. Our GW now has a policy of nothing priced below $1 for each item. For example, cups and saucers are in two separate areas. What!?!

Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Linda, you found tons of great stuff! I love old readers and have a collection of them. I especially love them if they were ones that I had in school like the Jack and Janet. You scored!
