Junkin Finds 1-23-15

I am trying to share my junkin finds each week!
I am buying less, but I love the hunt and when I find some treasures....it makes me smile!
I was so excited when I saw these two frames in
my super cheap thrift shop
Made out of magazine papers, I've seen these in stores for high prices....I love them and only .25 each
This tool box will hold my paints, the jar is for more organizing in my craft room.  The little saucer is a garlic grater and then you add oil and spices for a bread dip...yum!
Oh and see that little yellow pitcher?
Score another piece of mini pottery!  It's official I have a collection.  This one had a huge chip off the other side,
but for .25 I had to save it!

I haven't bought a table cloth in a long time and then I find two!
This one is red/pink and I love it and only .50
This square cloth caught my eye and again .50
Both of these will be used in tablescapes

But my favorite find of the day
These awesome paisley dishes!  Two square dinner plates, two square salad plates and only one mug but I love love them and total cost $2

So what have you found lately?

Nice finds Linda. Love the frames, and the tablecloths of course. :) You'll be all set for a valentine's tablescape with the red in those sweet tablecloths. The dishes are too cute, I couldn't have left them.

Great finds again! I'm in love with those paisley dishes! They look like ones I've seen at Pier 1 for waaaay more money for sure!

What would happen if we went shopping together and saw a piece of mini pottery? We'd probably get in a brawl! (I have a little pitcher very like that one.)

The magazine frames bring back dim memories of rolled up magazine type crafts that we must have done when I was young.

The plates look like the best score to me (I am a dish person you know). I do like that garlic grater a lot too.

I found a set of water glasses with pink hearts (and blue trim) for the breakfast table and one small heart shape plate. I also found four yards light pink striped cotton material (to make a tablecloth) and about five yards of a leopard print material (lord knows what I want that for) plus two really cute gingerbread men hot cocoa cups. Total cost was under five dollars.

Be a sweetie,

First, I love the red tablecloth. I have that fabric in dishtowels and I just love it.

Second, I have always wanted on of the rolled paper baskets.

And finally, thanks for the sweet comments on my blog.

Have a great weekend - hope you get some Tiger Time.

Love everything but the frames are my favorites. A wonderful find. They work beautifully with the sepia photo - I wonder how they would be with a color one?

Linda, your thrift has amazingly low prices! Like you, it's the entertainment of the experience more than the finds, but you came home with some fun things. The paisley dishes will make a great tablesetting. With a new grandchild on the way, more photo frames will be needed. Have a great weekend!

Great finds, especially the paisley dishes! I've been staying out of thrift shops for the most part, as I'm trying to get rid of stuff and not drag more stuff in! I did find a big basket that I needed though, but other than that, I only found a cardigan and a book. Which is fine. ;-)

Great finds Linda! I remember almost buying those paisley dishes. They were at TJ Maxx/Home Goods. And I love the garlic grater. I haven't seen one and now want one!
