Krispy Kreme

Have you ever had a Krispy Kreme doughnut?
They are yummy!
Have you ever been to a Krispy Kreme store?
I have!!
Back before Christmas I had dinner with Sara, Blake and Tiger.  After dinner Blake loaded us in the car and said we were going for a treat!
Hot Krispy Kreme doughnuts!
When the light is on that says HOT they are making doughnuts!
You can follow along as 'your' doughnut is made
From the fryer, flipped once
Through the waterfall of icing
To the box of doughnuts we bought!
The plain iced one's were all hot off the conveyor belt!
Tiger picked a chocolate iced doughnut and we all had milk
Only Tiger got the hat!
and a chocolate mustache!

It was so much fun to watch them 'make the doughnuts'.  Besides the glazed doughnuts they have many other kinds (as you saw in our dozen) all good!!
It was so much fun and a real treat!

So if you see a Krispy Kreme and the HOT light is on,
stop on in for a melt in your mouth delight!
(no one paid me for this post, all opinions are my own)
photos are from my cell phone but you can see the fun we had!

Wishing you JOY,

Linda

There is nothing better than a HOT Krispy Kreme donut! Do you know that there are parts of the world, alas even parts of the United States, that do not have Krispy Kreme stores!

The light at Krispie Kreme is like a beacon ... And I try so hard to resist. To be honest, all I have ever had there are the original glazed. So good!

Love Tiger's mustache! He was just saving some for later lol! We don't have a store close any more but I agree, hot of the conveyor belt is the BEST!!

Yes, we have Krispy Kreme here. The grandchildren love going for a treat there when they are in town. However, doughnuts and I don't get along too well - indigestion.:-( xo

I love Krispy Kreme donuts and Tiger's choice is my favorite too! I'm very lucky the closest shop is 1 1/2 hours away from my home or I would probably weigh twice as much as I do now. :)

I like the taste, but they don't usually settle well with my tummy. I will splurge once in a blue moon, and have a cruller or lemon or raspberry filled.

When the HOT light came on, the doughnuts used to be FREE - one per customer, but they stopped that. I have only been a few times but BOY are the good! Here's the funny part - I don't even like doughnuts.

Ok Linda, my mouth is totally drooling! Can you believe I have never had a Krispy Kreme donut?? I've always heard how delicious they were, so I didn't want to become addicted to them! Sounds like you all had a great time, I'll take the donut in the middle of your box, yum:)

I haven't seen a KK around here in ages, but that's probably a good thing. Milk is the only way to wash them down. What a special treat for Tiger.

I love the taste of Krispy Kreme donuts, but they don't love me. I have eaten a KK on two occasions and on both occasions got violently ill. I vowed never to eat another one and then I had to pick up 500 KK donuts for a school function and drive with the wonderful smell in my car. I so wish I could eat them.

Tiger looks like he enjoyed his.

Krispy Kreme is a southern treat!! We have a factory/store on Brainerd Rd. If you eat them while they are warm, they melt in your mouth..... oh my stars they are amazing! We used to go by and if the light is blinking, we stopped. It was -1 this morning and I had to go to work, what is wrong with this picture???? Oh well, schools back in session!

What a great treat. Tiger will agree to that I am sure. Don't ever remember having a Krispy Kreme, but surely I have. Glad you had a fun outing.
Blessings in 2014 and forever.

I love a good hot Krispy Kreme! There is a little bakery in Perry that I travel through when I go to Tallahassee called Johnson's Bakery that puts Krispy Kreme to shame. hard to believe I know but they are amazing! Twice the size and melt in your mouth...:) They have been around since the 1950's I believe. I need to stop....I am really craving a donut now and am trying not to eat sugar! Love the picture of Tiger...cutie!

Blessings, Vicky

once, and it wasn't even warm so I didn't think it was a big deal. Apparently no one else around here did either since they closed their only store in the area less than a year after opening. I must admit those look delish and I would love to have one...right now!

A warm fresh doughnut sounds divine! I've had Krispy Kreme doughnuts but never freshly made. We don't have a local one so they're shipped in to a store. That picture with Tiger donning the Krispy Kreme hat is too cute.

My granddaughter and I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts, but our local store had a fire and closed. We've been so anxious for it to reopen. Nothing can compare to a hot doughnut!

Yum yum! I've only had Kirspy Kremes from the grocery store. Oh, I love doughnuts and hot off the press! :)
I'm sure it was so much fun too with the little chocolate face.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Krispy Kreme is always a treat for us, along with Chick Filet, when we visit my husband's family outside of Pittsburgh. I can taste the glazed donuts right now :)

Linda,
Krispy Kreme is a mainstay in the Northeast but a lot of the stores have closed.
Thanks so much for your visits!!
