Thrifty Things Friday #141

Diann and I are so happy to have you join us for Thrifty Things Friday~2014
Can you believe it is our first party of the year?
If you are like me you haven't done a lot of thrifting, but I must say there were many bargains to be found at the after Christmas sales.
I had a return to Marshall's today and so of course had to cruise the last of the markdowns
I REALLY did not need anything else for Christmas decorations, but these two items just called my name!
This adorable Vera kitchen towel was marked 1/2 price and I had to have it!
I splurged on this little girl.  I saw her before Christmas and fell in love, but her price tag stopped me.  Today she was 1/2 price and it was still a lot for me, but I love her and so I brought her home.

All in all I spent less then the amount of my return so it was a win-win to me!

So join us for
and share with us your thrifty post!

Wishing you JOY,

Linda

Cute finds, Linda. I've not allowed myself to go out and take advantage of sales. I know I'd get into trouble. Ha!

I would have brought home that precious doll, too! And the tea towel is delightful! We always need a few little treats to bring a little joy. I've visited the party and look forwarding to partying with you and Diann in 2014 ~ Mary

I have the same one!! I ended up with two tea towels, an oven mitt and table runner - I was sure surprised to see them here in Canada

I got those same towels to give to my aunt and cousins for early Christmas gifts. I loved them, too. Don't we have good taste? CUTE little girl decoration. I didn't see her in our store. She really is cute and can be used all winter. I think I missed the sales at our store. :(

So you basically got these for free, right? That's the way I'd like to think of it. Won't it be nice to have them waiting for you next Christmas?

I really like the little girl! I have 2 little girls in my booth plus several dolls. We were supposed to start back to school today but the cld kept us home. We report at 10 tomorrow, no students, in-service and then I teach my college class tomorrow night. Hope you are doing well...we have been so busy with the booth that time flies@
