Liberty & Freedom

I meant to get this posted last night but my
4th of July celebration got in the way!
Still I want to share my holiday tablescape with you!
I hope you aren't too tired of r,w & b
This table runner is a favorite with all the stars!
I used red placemats from the Dollar Tree
White plate and bowl Pfaltzgraff Heritage pattern found at a thrift store
I added a red salad plate and the blue star plates
I have two blue, two red and two white stars
Sara and Blake gave them to me a few years ago
for my Birthday and I love them!
White flatware, blue napkin with white napkin ring and a great colonial blue wine glass complete the place setting
All solids but I like it!
I want to honor the things that 4th of July stand for...
Freedom
Liberty!
Simple centerpiece....Gardenias (most have already bloomed but I found 3 and brought them in)  Candles on star plates and the Freedom & Liberty signs found on clearance at Hobby Lobby

I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July!

I'm joining Kathleen for Let's Dish

Hugs,
Linda

What a wonderfully festive table! I LOVE those blue star plates, and they really dress up your stack of dishes! I can see why that runner is a favorite -- so pretty down the middle of your table! Thank you for your kind comments on my table this week.

It's fun to see everyone's take on the Red, White and Blue! I like how you embellished the runner with the patriotic sayings. My gardenia is long done here in FL,so enjoy yours!

Thanks for stopping by to visit and following! I saw your pyrex blog--hubby used to be in an antique mall here in Vegas and he sold pyrex by the boatload, mostly to Japanese tourists! Go figure.
