If you are a 'certain' age you must remember Tupperware parties. I went to many as a young Mom in the 1970's and even sold Tupperware for a short time. I loved doing the parties but was not 'pushy' enough with my sales and made little to no money doing it. Still I got some awesome stuff!
Remember these canisters? I had them in the gold color.
This was the 1970's after all!
This little booklet is selling on ebay for $15
If only I'd kept my dealer things I could be rich!
By selling Tupperware I was able to buy at a discount and not only did I get some great items for my kitchen
I got this for my girls!
Now that Tiger is a little older I went in search of the dishes I knew I must have kept for my future Grandkids!
Oh my, these bring back memories!
The perfect 1970's colors!
Harvest Gold, Avocado Green, Brown and Orange
I had fun playing with these...I made the 'tablescape' using an old napkin as the tablecloth
A Vera napkin from the 1970's
I found a few pieces of the baking set also!
Sara loved to use PlayDoh with her dishes and there was still some on the pieces! After giving them a good bath, I will take some of these dishes to Tiger!
Bringing back memories is always fun!
Did you have lots of Tupperware in your home?
Did you have any of the Toys or Dishes?
I'm joining

Linda

Tupperware really holds up. I STILL have small & large glasses that I use before I had my 30 year old son. They are still holding up. Not so much for the bowls though. I got rid of them. I think I still somewhere have one orange canister somewhere, lol.
whoa, super vintage! i think i have that pitcher somewhere, lol.
I remember my Mom had one Tupperware party, she got a load of stuff!!
I saw this set, still in the box at my local Salvation Army, it's behind glass, up for silent auction, I just might place a bid, it's so cute!!
Love your Vera napkin too!!!
I still have and use a lot of Tupperware. I can't afford to buy these days new. Okay, is this embarrassing....this morning Lia ate her rice krispies out of one of these bowls this morning and I DIDNT buy them second hand! LOL Dang I'm old!
I have a few of the newer pieces but sold all my "vintage" ones. Who knew?? I know one of their original toys is on display in the Smithsonian Museum. I still love those earth colors, so rich and warm. I love the Fridge Smarts, they keep things fresh. Tupperware parties were fun, we used to play all kinds of crazy games. xo
Cute table...and I did have tons of Tupperware at one time.
I still have two of the canisters in orange.
Remember it well! :) Still have one of the full size orange pitchers, set of orange measuring cups and measuring spoons, but got rid of most everything else I had years ago. Had a set of the yellow canisters, but think mine had a different design (?).
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. :)
Modular mates are the best! They have tamed the chaos in my pantry.
Until this very moment, I had no idea that of was of a "certain age". So thanks for making me feel old.
But yes, I clearly remember them and I bet my Mom still has those containers in her kitchen. But I love love love those play dishes. So cool!

How cute that little set is, and oh, I LOVE that cake carrier! That Vera napkin is the perfect backdrop for the set. I did attend a lot of TW parties. I'm not sure whatever happened to my purchases. My kitchen appliances were the Avocodo Green. I thought that green fridge would NEVER give out! laurie
Hi Linda...Oh yes, I definitely remember Tupperware parties. You have some really nice pieces. Colorful! Susan
How neat! I still have the canisters, I got mine in the 80's and they are brown too. At the time I (attempted) to sell it once you made a certain amount in sales your starter kit was free, so that was nice. Got the kit and I was done... No doubt Tiger will have fun with it:@)
I don't have any tupperwear but I know growing up we had a lot of that stuff in our house.
Linda, no Tupperware here, but boy do I recall the colors of the 70s ~ shag carpet, colored kitchen appliances ~ just to name a few colorful accessories.
What fun to have the child's set and the Vera napkin. These are great treasures from an era I remember well.

Oh what fun! I love the play Tupperware & remember friends having some of those pieces when I was a kid.
I don't have those toys but I remember them. And I have the pie and cake ones as we speak.
I loved tupperwear.

It brings back so many memories! I stil have 2 beverage glasses that I lost the lids for but they are my favorite for drinking iced tea.
I don't want you to be shocked...you know Tupperware lasts forever. I STILL have my golden canister set and I still use it! lol Why replace something that works so well? heehee!
Hey Linda! I don't think I knew you sold Tupperware! I was just like you...I wanted to make a little money, plus I wanted all that free stuff, so I sold it for a couple of months! I was way too shy back then, though. In fact, I have a chapter about it in my memoir!! I STILL have a blue set of those canisters....without the flower thingy, though. They are the ONLY ones I've ever had that really stay air tight. Thanks for the memories.
That kids Tupperware is adorable!
I want some LOL
Oh, this brings back memories of my wedding shower!!! Lots and lots of tupperware. And I still have many of the pieces! How wonderful that you saved the child's set. For your readers info, they do make a new version that's pretty darn cute!
What a flashback Linda! My Gram had that very same set. I would have loved to have it, and sorry it is gone. I think it is awesome that you saved it.
I love tupperware products. And I actually still have the red set of canisters in my pantry that I use!!!! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Yes to Tupperware! I have lots of Tupperware personally and I sell lots of Tupperware. It's still popular and practical today, no matter the color. Love your little baking set...way cute!
Oh yes i have that canister set but mine is the green and i still use in to is day have it now for 43 years.
Oh my gosh YES! I was a little one when the Tupperware parties were all the rage. However, I certainly do remember either my Mom or Aunt having one and being there.
Do I have Tupperware now? You bet! I even have that little cake carrier that you have. Although mine is newer and has an orange bottom, purple plates and teal cups (yes, I had to go look). I have the larger version of the pitcher, although it is the old golden orange color. It's in the refrigerator right now holding lemonade! And cereal bowls....yes, I have Tupperware and love it!
Hope you are staying cool - it's VERY humid here and we had some rain earlier - making it MORE humid. Yuck.
Thank for sharing what "inspires" you on Romeo's post!
Hugs,
"Her" and Romeo (who says "hi" to Charlie)
I do remember these. My mom had so much of the gold tupperware with the ribbed lids. What fun to walk down memory lane!
Oh, we all had those lovely colors, didn't we? I was a young bride back then, with limited funds, but I loved going to all those fun parties! I don't remember seeing miniature products, but then, I didn't have kids! Your set is adorable, Linda! ~ Sue
Of course~I was a Tupperware lady in the seventies when my boys were babies! I love that scene in Little Shop of Horrors about the Tupperware party!
Of course I had tupperware!! Half my wedding presents in 1979 were tupperware. Had those large yellow canasters in various sizes for the flour, sugar, coffee and tea bags!
Great meeting your today Linda!!
Hop to see you around!

I love using Tupperware. Its lightweight and it will never break into pieces. It will surely last a lifetime.
