Congratulations to The Tablescaper for her 100th
Seasonal Sunday Party! and to help her celebrate her Third Blog Anniversary!
We 'Tablescapers' have quite the collection of dishes, napkins, tablecloths, napkin rings, candles, flatware, accessories of all kinds and so much more!
When you love it the problem develops of
"Where do you keep it all???"
So here are some of the many spots in my home I store my tablescaping goodies!
I am so lucky to have a small walk in closet in the spare bedroom that I have taken over for my dishes
These photos are from last year and I must say not much has changed...maybe a few more dishes??
A few more place mats....
A few more random linens
My napkins have outgrown their current location and need to be sorted and another storage solution figured out
This is my large china cabinet and it is full to brim with glasses, serving pieces and other decorating items. I hope to clean it out at some point and really organize it but haven't yet!
I am lucky to have several shelving units in my basement that hold many other items that need sorting! Its a never ending job for a collector/tablescaper!
I did move this small shelving unit into my breakfast nook for my Pyrex and some Fiesta ware on the bottom. I use the Pyrex much more now that I can get to it easily!
Including my Pyrex fridgies!
Well that's most of it! Of course I have some sets of dishes boxed up in the basement and other dishes in my cabinets but the majority is in the dish closet!

You have Pyrex, too?! My goodness, if there's anyone who has more dishware than I do, it's got to be you. But my husband had to build an entire shed to house my stuff, and it's bulging. I have GOT to have a yard sale! Yes, I too hope you're having a great time with your daughter in LV (and remember, what happens in Las Vegas, etc.)
Just look at all the great things you have to create tablescapes! You are so well organized too.

Linda, you do have lots of dishes. I have a whole big storage unit that I can store things in,but I don't cook enough or do table scapes enough to collect a lot of dishes.
I collect some, but not many. But I collect enough other stuff to make up for it...LOL
Lucky for you to have storage space!! Love all the refrigerator boxes.
Oh, my! You are the queen of orgainzation. Will you PLEASE come to my house and organize my closets?! I had a floor refinsher over to give us an estimate, and when he went to open one of the closets in a guest bedroom I was crossing my fingers that nothing fell out and hit him on the head!

Your organized spaces are excellent. I love the idea of putting the dishes in an extra room. I've made an office for myself in an extra room upstairs but have not even thought of putting dishes in there too. Hmmm???? I like this idea! Happy Mother's Day!!!
I don't feel so bad now ... look at all that wonderful stuff you have stashed in aall of your hidey holes. Your refrigerator dishes make me want to ditch my Gladware and go old school ... almost. wow!

I think you could open up your own store with your stash of tableware. It's no wonder your tablescapes always look so good with so much to choose from.
This is why I can't be a tablescaper! I have lots of china and pottery, but really not very much storage at all! Love your storage.

I am drooling over your dish closet! I would love to store mine on the main level. I have to make so many trips up and down the basement stairs when I do a tablescape! You have so many pretty things. I sort my napkins by solid, floral, and other. But, the amount is growing at an alarming rate! Thanks for sharing your wonderfully organized spaces!
My goodness, you do have lots of great places to store your dishes. Nicely organized, too. I was so sorry to read about your mom's dog, Linda. How heartbreaking for her. I have never lost a dog and I can't imagine the pain she must feel losing her friend. Please give her a hug for me and tell her that I understand her loss as I have lost many beautiful cats over the years. She will see her companion again someday, that is for sure. Hugs, Deb
I love the walk-end closet full of dishes! My problem is that my three grandchildren stay over a lot and they actually want to put clothes in the closets (can you imagine)! Thank for sharing your storage places. It is always fun to see other people's storage ideas!
It must be great to have a whole closet you can use for your dishes, and your spaces are very well organized.
