Let's Dish ~ Cinco De Mayo

Let's celebrate Cinco De Mayo!
I love setting a fun table and this celebration lets me bring out my few Mexican decorations!
I set a simple table this year for a simple dinner!
I have these great Fiesta small platters and matching Soup Mugs and thought they would be perfect...I selected the Green
and Yellow set
on top of a woven placemat
I love these hand blown glasses...the green edge was perfect!  I found these and the Fiesta plates and soup mugs at thrift stores
I added these yard sale napkins that combined all the colors on the table!  I also added cobalt blue handled flatware.
These napkin rings are twisted wire and green beads.  I've had them for a long time (thrift shop) but the first time using them and I love how they look on this table!
The serving pieces...
This vintage creamer will hold Salsa
This vintage sugar bowl will hold sour cream
This great pitcher will hold either sweet tea or Sangria?  Which would you choose?
This adorable planter is used as a tealight holder
Along with a couple of these cute cactus tealight holders
We will be having Cheese Quesadillas and Black Beans
I hope you enjoyed my Cinco De Mayo tablescape!

I'm joining Cuisine Kathleen for Let's Dish

Don't forget my great giveaway

Hugs,
Linda

Seeing your little guy taking a siesta makes me think it's about that time for me, too! Love the whimsy of your table.

Can I join you? This sounds like a delicious dinner to go with your pretty table. OK, I'll choose the Sangria.

I love to drink margaritas or fresh sangria out of glass tumblers like that. It makes me feel like I'm not drinking such a froo-froo drink!!! (Tequila really isn't anything to mess around with, though, so I guess margaritas can't really be considered froo-froo!) Muy bien hecho!

My favorite tables are ones that are full of vintage pieces. There's just something special about them that you can't find in the department stores. I love the colors on this one. It's a fun table and pretty too!

What a fun Cinco de Mayo table! The colors are perfect and I love the planter with the man taking a siesta. I remember it from when I was a kid...I bet one of my great aunts had something similar.

Cute, cute, cute, Linda. Great idea to use the little planter as a tea light holder. Now why didn't I think of that?

Take care and have a great Cinco de Mayo. Tenga diversion! Susan

What great thrift buys. Dinner sounds great but I'm not from the South so no sweet tea for me! Sangria sounds good!
