I am joining in a new party. This is only it's second week so take a peek and maybe you will join in! It's called
and is hosted by Dayle a
We had rain showers off and on today
It made everything so steamy
I took a few minutes in between showers to walk
around my yard and enjoy a few of the flowers

What lovely photos!
Beautiful Linda! Love the hydrangea...truly simple pleasures!
Beautiful flowers. I will have to check out this new meme.
Those are beautiful!! I'm a huge hydrangea gal...and I think yours are fabulous.
Have a wonderful day,
Patti
PS About my daughter coming to cook for you...here's something funny. At her request, I turned the kitchen over to her in about April. While I enjoy cooking, it is a passion for her, and she wanted the opportunity to indulge that love and hone her skills. Since I enjoy cooking, I was a bit reluctant to surrender the kitchen. However, I did so...and here's what's funny. She was out of town for 3 weeks in late June/early July, so I had control of the kitchen again...and I couldn't wait for her to get back. I actually like her cooking better than I do my own. But there I was, in control of my kitchen again...and not wanting it..
Hugs!!!
Welcome to Simple Pleasures, Linda. So nice to meet you and have you link up.
Your flowers are breathtaking! God's handiwork never ceases to amaze me.

Very nice and it is great to see after a nice shower!
Flowers are simple pleasures - to look at- but they are so awesome when you look deeply at them and see God's handiwork.

Beautiful, Linda. Beautiful. So happy you joined the Simple Pleasures party. It was a pleasure to see your post, too! Susan
Very pretty flowers Linda! I love to walk around and just enjoy our flowers right after a rain. There is some very peaceful about it!
Your flowers are like summertime. YOur red tablescape was adorable and I think Minnie Mouse would love to come to your house and eat.
Gorgeous flowers!..Christine
Oh Linda, I just love your rose of sharon flowers! This reminds me I need to go out and enjoy mine. Life gets so busy sometimes I totally miss seeing some of my own flowers bloom until they are fading.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos.

I love your pictures. I have noticed the flowers more than ever this year. I think our uncommonly cold and long winter made the spring and summer flowers twice as lovely for some reason. I don't understand the "science" behind that, but I enjoy the beauty of it.
love this post and adore your bloggie bling!!
Hey GIrlfriend. I know I haven't been around much.
Your flowers are beauties for sure. And you have TOMATOES!!!! Yeah for you. I bet you can't wait for the first yummy crunch on them. I had my first tomato sandwich yesterday. I made the boys BLT's too : )
So your going to the longest yard sale again. Lucky girl. I would be with you in a Georgia minute. Wouldn't that be fun to meet one year, all the girls. We would need a caravan lol
Sending you sunshine hugs Linda.
Love Claudie

Your flowers are beautiful. I just came across your blog and I will be back! I tried to join Simply Pleasures but I'm horrible at techie stuff that includes directions. Maybe next week I will figure out how to follow all the directions. Beautiful, beautiful flowers again.
Your flowers are beautiful!
Have a great weekend.
Linda, your photographs are stunning. Beautiful post. laurie
it's hard to have a bad day when you see flowers such as these.
Gorgeous photos of those beautiful flowers! And I love the red and white table below! You can find the Hazel Atlas pink Ripple plates on ebay. They are sometimes called pink crinoline, and they come in blue! I just love them, and they are a lot of fun with the girls!
jumping back. i saw your comment on my blog re Things Happen. the dog issue was funny, the nose not. have a good weekend.
I agree, Linda...thank You, God for hollyhocks and all the other beautiful flowers you created for us to enjoy. All the different shapes, textures, fragrances...ahhhh! Lovely :)
Linda you have a lovely yard! With my mother-in-law's illness and passing our yard literally went to the birds. I am going to get busy in the fall so I have some flowers to share next Spring! What a pretty simple prayer you posted! Thanks Anne
