Today I'm joining up with a really fun blog party....Alphabe-Thursday with
JENNY MATLOCK  so be sure to hop over there and check out the other fun posts this week.

I love my cats and have had many over the years.  Friends seem to think because you love cats you love cat stuff
WELL......I do!
This is a Vintage ceramic cat....It is to hold yarn or string
This is made by McCoy Potteries and I love this piece

I found this sweet vintage planter in a thrift store

This cat is milk glass and was won on an ebay auction
It was made by the Mosser Glass company in Cambridge, Ohio

This little guy was just too cute to leave behind

Made by Lefton and I paid 55 cents for him

This is a compact made by Estee Lauder and very collectible

The next cats are not Vintage but part of my collection!

This is another planter and I love the creamy white and pink

When I first spotted this cat, it was in another persons cart at Goodwill, they put it down and I swooped it up. I love the butterflies on this.  The lady who put it down asked me what it was for, I told her a pad of paper goes in  the slot and this hole is for a pen....ohhhhhhh she said.  Now she wishes she had kept it, but it's mine!

Cat mugs of course  (these have been given to bloggy friends)
This adorable cookie jar was a gift from a good friend

of course my favorite cat...Charlie
This is a picture of Charlie from the scrapbook when I brought him home in Nov of  1998

Thanks for looking over my vintage and new CATS!

Oh, all your cats are very cute. However, if I ever come visit you, we will have to visit outdoors. I am HIGHLY allergic to cats...and I do mean highly. It is not a pretty sight.

And I'm trusting that you and that lady didn't get into a cat (!) fight in the Goodwill. You know you do hear those stories about fights at WalMart over Christmas specials. I'm sure that's not you, though!!

Very sweet cats.
We can't have a cat because our daughter is terribly allergic, but there's a barn cat that I love and feed - he's a good worker!

I'm a big cat collector too. They're such graceful, beautiful animals!

They're all cute, but I think I'd steal Charlie, given half a chance. :)

Sign me up for the Charlie Fan Club. He's a beauty, and it's nice for him that he has so much company there, even if it is mostly ceramic. Thanks for rerunning that post. I really enjoyed it.

I have a few things around the house too that are cats besides the living, breathing ones. Have a great day, Linda. ps - I wrote a note to a friend on one of your cards yesterday. Thanks again for the gift. Deb

Oh, what fun! I love your cats, Linda. I love the milk glass and the McCoy. And Charlie is as handsome as ever.

I may have to hop in on this one and be part of the fun. Better get snappin' some photos. Then I have to get serious and get my work done around here.

Hope you are well and having a wonderful day,

I'm sure I must have posted back on this when it was C time, in case I didn't I think my favorite besides Charlie is the cat holder with the pen and paper. It may or may not be different than before lol.

You are amazing! I am always so glad to read your posts because you find the neatest things. I bet you are gearing up for world's longest yard sale, we are! Maybe we can meet somewhere and have a cool drink.

I remember this post. I probably said that I like the McCoy the best. I have a couple of McCoy planters that I use on my work table for markers, pencils ect. Came by to thank you for stopping by and this reminded me I need to get something together for the Alphabet-Soup. Not sure what I'll do yet. And you tell Mrs C if I cannot go to the yard sell she cannot either. Bother.

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog and for voting for the El-o-Win Bridge! Hope you have great memories of your Girl Scout years!

Wonderful collection of vintage cat collectibles. I love cats and used to collect miniature porcelain cats when I was little!

Isn't it funny when people find out you like something they will continually give you something related to it. At one time I loved teddy bears. Any kind of teddy bears. I now have enough that I do a whole Christmas tree with them for my Grandchildren. I let each one pick one each Christmas to take home.

You've collected some amazing and cute cats over the years. I especially like handsome Charlie.

I loved that McCoy cat last time I read this post and I still do!

What a great link to Alphabet Soup week!

It's fun to see this feels like I just read it a few weeks quickly time goes.

And, sweet girl, of course this gets another A+

I love this post! You have the cutest collection, and that Goodwill find was great. I've learned never, ever to put something down until I am absolutely, positively sure I don't want it :) Charlie sure is a handsome cat, our little Sax is waving hello to him. Kat

Hello Linda,

Thank you so much for stopping by! Your Charlie is adorable! I love your cat collection. Although I do not typically collect cat stuff, I did inherit most of my maternal grandmother's collection. I will have to do a post about them one day.

ALL the cats are delightful, both ceramic, and real. =)

Thanks for the info on my fiesta ware.
I also got a web site to check out.
Guess I'm wondering what even the 70's stuff is worth. no clue what to charge for it, and do not want to give it away.
So loving the colors of these pieces.

PS I love having my store. so many new things to learn. =)

Well, 39 comments later . . . here I am! Of course I had to comment on C is for Cats since I'm a cat lover, too, and have a whole BOX full of kitty things. Hmmmm, guess I might have to dig them out and share one of these days. Love that little McCoy kitty and so glad to see you're using it for what it was made for!
