I have a few pieces of some unmarked china
with a sweet dogwood pattern on it.
I thought it would set a lovely breakfast tray
A pretty pink place mat picks up the pink in the dogwood pattern
I used a medium size candlewick plate to anchor the small plate
Topped with a berry bowl. White handled flatware keeps the setting light and bright.
I love these white napkins with the pink edging and design and the flower napkin rings.
A pretty pink wine glass for orange juice
and of course a great cup of coffee!
I am downsizing some of my dishes and now that I have set a tray with these, they will now be going to the thrift shop.
I'm joining
Wishing you JOY,
Linda

Very pretty setting! I have seen this pattern, but don't know the name/maker. It makes a lovely tray!
I love your 'pink'. And what a great idea about the tray. I think it brings it much more into a doable thing!
So very pretty. You will have the picture and not the clutter. My goal, someday.
Looks like a nice way to start the day:@)
Are you sure you want to donate these now, lol? Love how you picked up on the pinks.
What a lovely treat, breakfast on a beautiful tray!

What a lovely place setting. I have no pink, but those napkins with the pink edging are making me think that I should add a little pink somewhere.
Very pretty Linda! Love the pink accent pieces to highlight the pink in the blooms. Someone will be very happy to find these at the thrift! Have a lovely week...:)
lovely!

How lovely, that pink glass is the best!

Love your pretty breakfast tray, Linda. Someone will love finding those dishes. xo Laura
Wait. I was promised breakfast in the title of this post.
Those dishes are so pretty, especially with the pink place mat and drinking glass. I'm still slowly but surely decluttering around here!
Too pretty to send them to the thrift store! Pink is always lovely...
warmly,
deb
I had a set of this pattern at one time, and I sold it to a friend whose hometown is known as the Dogwood Capital. I am catching up on my blog reading and loved the shopping tour through Junk In My Trunk and what treasures you found. The cedar chest is quite special - with signature!
Oh so pretty I really like these
Just beautiful Linda. One of the prettiest individual setting I have seen.
I would gladly accept breakfast in bed served on that lovely tray. Love the placemat!
What a perfectly lovely setting Linda. Love all the pink prettiness.
That is a super sweet tray! I love dogwood, so pretty

It looks so pretty! I've been trying to do a little downsizing too... slowly but surely!

Hi Linda! Oh, this is so lovely! Your dishes are very sweet. Thank you for popping in to my travel blog.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
How pretty! I used to love it when my mom would bring me breakfast in bed on a tray. Of course I was sick and that part wasn't fun, but I still thought it was wonderful :)
xo,

I'd build a new house rather than give my precious china away! This set is so cute and I just love the dogwood pattern. XOXO
Indeed, this charming china sets a lovely breakfast tray! Love the soft pink details.
SO pretty & I love those napkins! Your trayscapes are so fun!
I've 2 plates matching this pattern. It seems more rustic in style than my great grandmother's Homer Laughlin Georgian Eggshell and Virginia Rose patterns (perhaps older?) If anyone ever has a guess on a manufacturer, I'd be interested.
