J is for Junk in the Trunk

Junk in the Trunk is a vintage mall near me
I go there from time to time and enjoy browsing and of course sometimes I find treasures!
My very first visit I found these two pink pottery pieces for my collection.  Both under $5 each
This USA mini piece was $5 and I added it to my collection earlier this year
This McCoy piece was also $5 and came home with me!

I thought this frog planter was unmarked McCoy but wasn't sure.  I went home and checked my books and yes it is!  So the next day...
Home it came and only $6

I also get great ideas from the displays
Like this one, using a painted metal tray as a magnet board
This Pyrex divided dish was a steal for $3

I'm in love with this shelf and just might have to purchase it if it's there the next time I go

So much fun to browse this fun vintage store!

I'm joining Jenny at Alphabe-Thur

Wishing you JOY,

Linda

I am sorry, I spent no time looking at your great finds. I couldn't tear my eyes away from the beautiful photo of Tiger and Rosemary.

You really got some great prices. The malls I've been to are always so expensive. I haven't been to the thrift store in a couple of weeks....I'm so ready to go! Hugs!

You have such a knack for finding fabulous small pottery pieces! The frog planter is adorable. That is a pattern on Pyrex I haven't seen before...kind of like it.

I have the McCoy frog planter in my booth. We both have good taste. Hope you are doing okay and having a great weekend.
We have been really busy at the mill. Thanks for checking out my facebook page, it is a great way to post my items. We have also starting putting all our big items, like furniture and pottery on Craig's List and then send them to the mill. I think it is a great way to get out the information. Have a great rest of July!!!!!

There's nothing like a good junk shop, huh? A former friend of mine used to have a shop here called Junk in the Trunk. When it was still in business, I used to help her out from time to time.

I haven't seen that pyrex pattern before!

What fun things you found!

I'd like to actually get rid of some junk in my trunk.

Sigh.

Thanks for a cute link for the letter J.
