Tiger and Nascar!

In the south Nascar is very popular!
My son-in-law is a big fan, it was something he shared with his Dad growing up.  Finally Tiger was old enough for his first race.  They went to the Saturday race (not the big Sunday race) at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.  Tiger was so excited.
A child this young should always wear headphones because the noise level is so high.
It was pretty cold early in the day so he was layered up!
They went with Blake's Dad, Tiger's Pop-Pop.
Tiger loves cars and has been 'watching' races with his Dad on TV since he was a tiny baby.
See the little race car!
Now of course he is almost 4 years old
Thumbs up for his first Nascar Race
Showing the souvenir car that his Pop-Pop got for him.
It's an experience he will never forget!
None of them will!

Wishing you Joy,

Linda

Must have been an exciting day for Tiger. I've heard that even adults should protect their ears at these races.

Oh I bet they all had a blast! I watched the Sunday race and thought it was a shame the weather wasn't nicer. Glad Tiger got to go:@)

So exciting! We love NASCAR here, too. Our home track is in Richmond, about an hour from here. Hearing protection is a must for the grown ups, too, because the noise level in Richmond's small track enclosure is off the charts.

Beautiful photos Linda! Gosh, a couple of my nephews worked in the pit at some Nascar races long ago and my oldest son has a few match box Nascar's autographed by the racers. One was Davey Allison who passed away in 1993 and the other one was Alan Kulwicki who also passed in 1993. Those little cards are real gems for my boy. I use to love racing when I was younger. What a fun time for Tiger and his dad and grandpa.

So cute that he got to go to his first official race. Great idea to use headphones on those little ears.

We're huge NASCAR fans in my family. My mom knows everything there is to know about all the drivers. You'd never know it by looking at her though LOL

I haven't been to a race since I left Virginia, but I love it :)
