I have been finishing the decorating this week and I'm ready to share the cubbies!
This year I tried to fill it mostly with vintage items
The top has two blow molds I found at the thrifts along with my chippy Elf
and the choir boy and girl
The first two shelves hold mostly vintage items
Do you remember the little bird with the Santa hat I found at the Longest Yard Sale? He looks very happy sitting on JOY!
The middle two shelves hold the Lefton Angels I found this year in the thrift shop
I found these cute little blocks and my little vintage deer loves them also
The bottom shelves and a vintage postcard
I put some vintage ornaments from my childhood in this Shiny Brite box on the table
This was from a visit with Santa back in the 1950's
I look like I'm happy to see Santa!
I'm joining these parties
Rednesday at It's A Very Cherry World
and
Vintage Thingy Thursday
at Coloradolady
Hugs,
Linda

I always look forward to your decorated cubbies. Those Lefton angels are so sweet and I love that box of Shiny Brites. What a cutie you are on Santa's lap!
Merry Christmas to you.
What a precious picture to still have. And your cubbies are so cute and cheerful and red! I love the color red. You know that O Christmas tree plate I bought at the GW to put cookies on for Santa? I went back and bought the whole set. I did some research and it appears that they are from the early 80's. I did good on the price too. I may redo my hutch with them if I have time before Friday.~Ames
The reindeer and the little bird with the Santa hats are my favorites! Darling!
And the vintage ornaments in the Shiny Brite box are terrific!

Good morning, Linda,
I love your collections for Christmas. Vintage finds are my favorite finds. :-) But I have to say, the photo of you with Santa is my favorite image you shared in this post. It is so darned sweet. You do look so happy to see him. Whenever my Mom put me on Santa's lap I had a look of terror on my face. LOL!!! We have some good photos of me looking at him like he was something from another planet or me crying and or trying to shy away. ROFL! I love him now. :-) Just took a while.
I hope you and your family have a wonderfully blessed Christmas!
Your cubby is festive and filled with precious Christmas treasures. The bird and the deer on the blocks are my fave. A lovely Christmas share today.
Merry Christmas with blessings to you and yours.
Jeanne
Your picture with you and Santa! Wonderful! Your collection reminds me of my Christmases, thanks for this post.
Linda,
The photo of you and Santa is so fantastic! Your display is so festive. I just love vintage ornaments. I have a small reindeer similar to yours...it is an ornament that I've had since I was little! Thank you for all you visits and sweet comments on my blog... it means so much to me!

Linda all you things are quite beautiful - you have a nice collection for Christmas - I think my favorite is the white bird with the Santa hat!
Merry Christmas
sandie
Linda, I always love seeing what you put in your cubbies, and I especially love all of your vintage Christmas. Those angels are just precious, and I love the way you've used the vintage blocks to elevate some of those vintage treasures. The whole vignette is wonderful - with the vintage ornaments in an old box on the table. laurie
Linda, that photo of you and Santa is priceless. Love the blow molds on top. I didn't find a single one this year at the thrifts :(.
