This has been a crazy week! Thank you all for your prayers for my family. Blake will have his ankle surgery on Monday. We are hoping for a positive outcome and a good recovery!
I wanted to join Diann's party and share some junkin finds from a few weeks ago
I found this little box
It is made by Touchstone Pottery in Nova Scotia and is fine porcelain.
On the top is a Celtic Design.
I paid 40 cents!
This sweet little pitcher or creamer was also a very happy find...so cute and only 75 cents...lots of uses for this.
This juice bottle is missing a lid but I love the stripes on it and also only 75 cents
I was really taken with this old mixer bowl. The shape and the bands on it are really attractive. What kind of mixer did it come from?
GE and for $1 I had to add it to Mr ACL's Mixer Collection
I hope you will go by Diann's and join in her fun Thrifty Things Friday party
Hugs to you all!
Linda

Hi Linda, the juice bottle w/o the lid makes a great vase. I love the mixer bowl, I'd use that in a centerpiece, too. Great finds, and love that little bubble pitcher, too. xo,
I think you are a wizard at finding the neatest things, I was going to say the little pitcher was my fav UNTIL I saw the juice bottle and it is my favorite...too! Hope the surgery goes well and I will remember you and your family in my prayers.
Great news Linda and we are all still hoping and praying for a very speedy recovery. Love the juice bottle! Doesn't it say "sunshine." Lid or not lid, it is a winner.
That little cream glass looks just like you!
I remember a juice bottle like that one growing up. Cute finds.
I love seeing everyones finds as much as finding things myself.I love old mixing bowls too
Hi Linda; wishing your SIL the very best recovery--bummer during summertime. Love your finds--what neat bargains--that juice jar is my fave! Have a great Friday and weekend. Patty
Wow, you do great at the thrift store!! I never find anything for 40 or 75 cents.
By the way, I'm out of the loop, I guess. Didn't you used to host a Friday Junkin' Finds? Not doing it anymore?
Praying for Blake.
Love,
Patti
Hi Linda,
What great finds. I can't believe the prices you paid...here we would pay much more for some of these items. Love the banded mixing bowl.
Thinking of you and your family,

What a beautiful gift you created for Becky! Girl, you need to give yourself more credit in the crafting departmen! It is a gift anyone would love to receive!
I can see that juice bottle filled with zinnias! What cute finds! It has been so hard to leave comments! I've stopped by but today is the first time I can actually say "HI!"
