More Green!

Sunday is St. Patrick's Day so I wanted to share some more of my Green things!
The cubbies decked out in Green from last year
Plates on the wall
Do you think she is Irish??
We will have corned beef and cabbage Sunday!

This is one of my favorite green things...
I found this cup and plate at different times at different thrift stores!

Almost all my Green decorations are thrifty finds!

St. Patrick's Blog Crawl

It is time once again to be wearin' the Green!

What better way then to set a lovely trayscape!

I love the yellows and greens of this plate stack!

The yellow plates with shamrocks are the inspiration!  Only .75 for three plates at a church sale.

The flatware was a goodwill find .20 a piece
The green swirl Boopie was .75 and the Irish Coffee was .59 both found at thrift stores

I really enjoy have a tray set for dinner!

Even on a tray you can create a pretty setting!

I'm joining Kathleen for her St. Patrick's Blog Crawl!
Hope you will join in the fun!

Wishing You JOY,

Linda

I Love Glass

I love glass!
Clear, Blue, Amber, Red, Green
Today I'm sharing another one of my favorite pieces
This lovely covered compote was found at a thrift shop...coated with dirt and grease
Still I saw it's beauty!  Lots of soap and scrubbing
and this gorgeous thing came to life
I keep candy in it when it's out on the coffee table
Not a bad for under $3

Join The Party!

Today is the 4th Annual St. Patrick's Day Blog Crawl at Cuisine Kathleen!   I hope you go over and check out all the fun
St Patrick's Day posts!

I'm sharing some fun 'green' and St Paddy's day finds from my getaway last week.

You can find such great things at the thrift stores and low prices if you look oh and if your lucky!
This plate has no markings but I would guess it was a souvenir from a trip to Ireland
I picked it up for .50

This 'Luck of the Irish' pillow was found at the same thrift store and was also .50
The green sugar & creamer I found at a Habitat for Humanity store.  I little on the high side with most of their prices I was going to leave without finding anything when I took one more look in the kitchen area and found these hiding behind something...price $2 for the set!

This minty green Pyrex baking dish came with all the grime for $1....it is soaking in soapy water right now!

The Tupperware container was $1 and the cute kitchen towel was .40....so I'm a lucky girl even if I'm not Irish!

Join in with Kathleen and enjoy the Green!

Linda

Seasonal Sunday~Wearing of the Green

In honor of St Patrick's Day I thought I would share with you some of the green my home is wearing!
The cubbies which I shared with you a few days ago
The plate rack to the right of the hutch holds some green plates
as does the plate rack on the left
I found this mug last year and the plate last week at different thrifts...love how good they look together!
I love this Fenton dish found at a GW
Happy Wearing of the Green!
