What's Up Wednesday!

I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend!
Mine was wonderful.  For the first time in years I had both my daughters, my son in law, grandson and my MOM all together for a family dinner!
Of course we forgot photos!
Still the time together was amazing. Since Mom has moved here, we will now have more of these times all together.
Tiger and I had another play date!  He does love his chocolate milk!

Last week I had two dentist appointments, got my eyes checked and I still need to schedule a general check up.  Seems like I've ignored my self for so long now but I'm trying to catch up!
Big news here is this new Kroger Marketplace
The largest Kroger in Georgia just opened last week a couple of miles from me.  I waited until yesterday to check it out!
Huge produce department!

A huge home decor dept...this is just a tiny portion of, dishes, pots & pans, small appliances, towels, rugs and shower curtains!
(I'm kinda in love with the cute owl one)
Seasonal decor...yes...about 3 aisles of it!
(all these owls were so cute...Kathe don't you love them all)
Of course they have a great Fresh Meals to go and a Delicatessen...but you can also buy your girl an engagement ring between buying that frozen pizza and beer!  I had my watch with me and they put a new battery in it for free!  Nice!

Don't all grocery stores sell clothes and shoes?
REALLY, they had some nice stuff!
So this store is really like a WalMart!
I must say I had fun!
I'm so easily entertained!

That's it for this Wednesday!

Wishing you JOY

Linda that is one huge Kroger - I almost feel like Wal Marts are too big - you have to start early in the day! It looked nice though.

Oh my goodness Linda! That store is amazing! And yes, love the owls :-) So funny, when we were shopping w/ my MIL over the weekend she kept pointing them out to me. I guess it's not a secret, I love owls lol!

I would love to have a superstore like that here. Reading blogs, the ladies would mention that they bought their dishes at Kroger's. Maybe one day I will be able to check them out. Seeing seasonal displays like that puts me in the mood for decorating.

I now you are enjoying your family time! There are some of the K. super stores around here, but not like that.

That is suppose to be know not now - spell check gets on my nerves. :(

I'm sure you all had the best time together, sound like such a fun holiday treat for all of you. I don't think we have Kroger stores out here, at least not in this area. Do they have a vintage mall in there too?

Linda, I am so happy that you are getting to spend more time all together. That is wonderful, and I know how happy this must make you. That Tiger is so cute and really growing, and how special that your mom gets to enjoy him, too! :-)

Kroger (the IPad tried to spell it ROGER, LOL) is a good chain. I guess they are looking at Whole Foods who sells Tom's shoes and some organic clothing. I was wondering when the grocery chains would start this. It will be interesting to see how well it goes.

They really do have CUTE dishes and things. I bought a plaid bowl there which accidentally got broken, but I found another in a slightly smaller size. I was out of state when I found it, and I was blessed to find the other before we left! ;-)

What a huge Kroger! I don't think we have anything like that here.

I guess that's what they mean by 'one stop' shopping!

I always forget to take pictures of family events! I'm so busy either hosting or joining in that pictures are far from my mind!

We have a couple of Kroger stores here just like your new one. I am not a Kroger shopper, though, so I am rarely in either of them.

xo Nellie

Looks like you can do everything at that store! One stop shopping!
It is very nice to have family close by!

What a joy to have your whole family together! I am so happy for you.

Can't believe how big Tiger has gotten. Wasn't he just a baby last month?

My mom used to shop at Kroger, when I was growing up. I haven't been in one for a couple decades, as because even when we lived in Georgia, I was a Publix shopper. New stores are always fun, though.

Happy weekend,

Hi Linda, oh your little Tiger is just so cute. Your Kroger store is lovely. Our Fred Meyer stores here are owned by Kroger. I do most of my shopping with them.

SO glad that most your family is so close! I am sooooo jealous of your Kroger!!!!! They took them out of Chattanooga and it was one of my favorite places to shop! I do love my Aldi but it looks NOTHING like that fabulous Kroger! All is well with us, school is going and going and going! Hubby is gret , he loves to go picking and that what we seem to do each weekend. My son loves LA, what is this about our kids and the west coast???? Hope all is well with you and I hope to see you soon! Kudos on going to the dr., dentist....I know it's hard but it is necessary for us to take care of ourselves so we can be around longer for those that love us!!!! Happy Weekend to you!

So glad you got the whole family together, I'm sure it was a treat! The store has everything, I'd get lost for sure!

For some reason Kroger decided to remove the home goods from our store and fill it with clothes instead. I don't know one person who is happy about that so we will see how it works out. I for one don't see myself buying a lot of clothes along side my groceries. xo Laura

It really is special to have your entire family together, isn't it? I've never been to a Kroger's. I know we don't have any in northern MN, but we don't have much of anything up here!
