I forgot to get out early on Friday and look for yard sales. I saw one sign but it was late and alas no one out in the yard...so Saturday I got out and followed some signs around my Mom's neighborhood. Found a few good things!
This cool tote was a quarter
I love the fall colors
As was this nifty purse (a quarter)
Pink and Purple oh my!!
At another place I found a couple of books
Also a quarter each
Classics for sure!
and the last place
These really cute fruit dishes! I love the colors!
Only a 'quarter' each!
And these two brown beaded candle rings
yep a quarter each
It was a Quarter kind of day!
I am joining in some fun parties!
Please visit Linda at
And a new (to me) Party at
for Thrift Share Monday!
So far I can bring all my goodies home in my suitcase but I have a spare empty suitcase just in case! What are the odds I will need it before leaving on the 21st?? I would say VERY GOOD!
Always,
Linda

Oh Linda, I'd say you had a wonderful day on Saturday. You DEFINITELY got your quarters' worth! Cute finds. Susan
Not bad for mere pocket change!
Stop it! You are supposed to be visiting your mother and not finding incredible 25 cent deals at yard sales! I went to a local thrift today in search of some really cheap sheets to cut up--this is the thrift I've gone to for years and have gotten lots of great deals--and I found TWO freaking sheets and NOTHING else of interest. I think they've started selling their good donated stuff on eBay. Sob.
You gotta love it when you can get all that for $2.50!! Great scores!
:) Michelle
You know you will need a new suitcase for your treasures. Actually I just learned that To Kill A Mockingbird, which is a classic, is on a banned book list. I couldn't believe it. The things I learn from blogging. Have fun visiting your mom. Glad you liked my halloween treasures. I do have fun.
WOW...25 cent deals!! Most things are 50 cents and up around here! Have fun with your Mom and continued shopping deals!
Warmly,
deb :)
Wow, you had a quarter perfect day. Great finds.
You are surely going to need that extra suitcase with the way you're spending quarters!
Great finds. I wish we had yard sales in the UK, perhaps it is better for my purse that we don't.

Smart travelers always bring an empty suitcase! You really made out! A quarter can still buy something in some places!
Lovvvvvvvvvve the gourd photo in your header!!!
Love it when such finds are so inexpensive. Your new tote and candle rings are my favorite. The latter reminds me of similar things my grandmother had in her home.
Oh girl, I can't think of a kind of day that could be in funner than a quarter kind...luckily you've brought another suit case...looks like there are lots of great finds out in TX! You done good!
Big hugs,
Queenie
Great .25 cent finds Linda! Those two books are WONDERFUL classic books. 2 of my all time favs! Glad you are having fun!
Oh! You put her up on your header for your blog! I just love that little Witch. :-)
Good afternoon, Linda. I should have known you would be out looking for yard sales while you were visiting with your Mom. lol Of course you would be.
This weekend I totally forgot about garage sales because I was at home with a sick hubby and mending son... I am hoping there will be at least one more weekend here in Michigan to take advantage of some good finds. It's lovely here this week and hopefully it will be lovely here this weekend.
You made some great finds, as usual, books included. I wish you luck filling up that extra suit case you brought with you, but I doubt you'll need any luck. ;-)
Happy Tuesday to you!
Susan
What a bargainicious thrifting session. Love the first bag best of all.
