Don't forget to check out my giveaway here!

I wanted to share with you what a wonderful Mother's Day I had.

First my youngest child sent me flowers!  This was the first time she has done this and it made my day!!  I was very surprised!  She always remembers me and sends a card but flowers are expensive to send and so I'm very touched.
Very pretty!
Such pretty daisy's
With pink baby roses and chrysanthemums
Thank you sweet Sara!

I'm linking up with Tuesday Trivia Tie-In
With Troy over at I Refuse to Recede
Let's talk about Soccer
Ashleigh took me to the Home opener of the WPS (Women's Professional Soccer) Atlanta Beat
They have the first "built for Women's Soccer" stadium in the USA
This was their inaugural game in the new stadium
It was built in partnership with Kennesaw State University who's women's soccer team will also use this facility.
Warming up including the ref's
These seats were VIP's only but we were front row right behind them.  Wonderful seats!
They played WPS team Sky Blue
Both teams on the field warming up
The game begins
It was a great game, The Beat played really well

I would love to say the VIP tent was hiding the Atlanta winning score but alas they lost!   Still they played really well.
The WPS was formed in September 2007 and began playing games in 2009.  The league has 8 teams across the country.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to be the premier women's soccer league in the world, and the global standard by which women's professional sports are measured.
Pretty ambitious goals and I think a wonderful thing for women's sports.  To learn more about WPS go Here
Being Mother's Day Ash treated me to a cute hat to keep the sun out of my eyes.  I bought a T-shirt and the shaker was free so we could cheer on the Beat!!
Thanks Ashleigh for such a fun Mother's Day outing!

What a lovely bouquet and what a wonderful day you had. I had phone calls and sweet gifts from my sons and daughter-in-love. I missed them terribly. I'm in the midwest, they are on opposite coasts. We'll see them soon and celebrate.

Beautiful flowers, soccer games at the new stadium, and out with your daughter - now that adds up to a great Mother's Day.

Hope you feel better.

I live 5 minutes from there - my daughter graduated from Kennesaw- you would not believe how it has grown.

Sounds like you had a great mother's day. Good for you. Thanks for your sweet comments about the shower. It really looked better than what the photos showed. The ladies all loved it. They were blown away by the shoes. Remember we are up in Maine and they kept saying that the shoes looked like they came from New York City. It was fun. Thank you again. Your comments are always appreciated.

What a thrill that I will never, ever forget. My daughter was a big soccer player until 2 torn ACL's. We still watch world cup and cheer fot the old USA!

Daisies are my favorite flower, so I love your Mother's Day bouquet. The soccer game looked like fun. How great that they built a soccer field for women. That was so interesting to learn. laurie
