Can Darbyy Garden
Now Karyn is a very Green  girl and is having this giveaway.  I really hate to share this with you because by gosh I really would love to win this one myself.  BUT... I'm giving you a chance to enter also.   Karyn makes bags, purses and even Easter baskets.  She takes these...
 And turns them into this
So go HERE  to enter her giveaway of one of her fantastic bags and some awesome canisters!  Sigh...but if you win well, well, I'll be happy for you, yes I will!!

Now TODAY was a wonderful day for Thrifting!
I hit a wonderful bounty of items at Value Village...I was so excited and I think all that yelling, screaming and jumping up and down was just in my head...but I'm not sure...I go there often and don't want to be banned from this store, so I sure hope so!
I found all this Pyrex, glass, dish, chicken, Easter love and more...

I know I didn't get all the sizes of this Pyrex bowl set, but I feel lucky to have found two of these  bowls..pattern is Early American style of bowl is Cinderella.
This Pyrex divided dish in the (correction pattern is VERDE)
Cute salt and pepper shakers, two small little cups

Beautiful bowl, some plates

And my favorite piece of the day this ruffled edged compote

So yes I was having a great day and it only took one Andrew Jackson to get out of there with all these treasures.  Whoo Hoo!

I got tickled seeing Karyn's creations. It was a flashback moment. I learned to crochet when I was in elementary school while spending a week with my aunt. We made rugs out of bread bags. We used Bunny Bread bags - they were bright blue so the rugs were a blue shag. I have to tell you they were adorable! Happy to share the instructions to anyone interested.

I have left two crazy comments for you on my blog. I can't believe I never picked up on your blog. I'll blame "mom's brain" or "teacher's brain." LOL. A La Carte is so awesome. We like all of the same stuff. I'll be surfing your blog for years to come.
All the best,

OK, I guess if Little Princess doesn't get her Easter basket, then the next best thing is for you to win it.

What great finds!!! Whooool Weee....You really did good. I love thrifting. I especially love yard sales, especially when I find a lot of things.

By the way, I love you header picture on your blog. Daffodils are my very favorite flower. They remind me that spring is on the way.
