Yellow, Green and French??

What do yellow, green and French have in common?  They are all thrifty things I am sharing today!
I found these bright yellow placemats and matching napkins at Value Village for less then $2
I'm always looking for things to add to my tablescaping stash!

This green glass leaf dish will be cute on a table and only 25 cents!

Mugs like this are sold at the restaurant La Madeleine  and cost about $12...I found this one for $1 in a Goodwill....

Sara's wisdom teeth extraction has been moved to next Friday.  So I will get another visit in next week!  I'll be going home tomorrow.

Hot, Hot, Hot!!

It's been a Hot summer already and it's only July 11th~
This trayscape says it all!
Hot Summer Colors!
Inspired by this cute Flip Flop candle holder found at a yard sale for 25 cents
Green, yellow and orangey-red plates
A green glass for something cold to drink!
The bamboo handled flatware was found at GW
I had this one poppy napkin in my stash.  I love these great colors and the price of 25 cents...who knows I may find another one someday!
I topped a glass napkin ring with the bright yellow flower!
With the tealight lit this becomes a very special trayscape for one!
Hot, Hot, Hot!
Don't you agree?

Strawberries & Much More!

When the mailman rings the doorbell and has a package for me,
 well it makes my day!
Recently I won Garage Sale Gal's Blog Birthday giveaway and it is sooooo cute!
I love cute packing and Deb wrapped some of the items in sewing pattern tissue
The giveaway had a great 'berry' theme
The vintage kitchen towel and apron both in strawberry fabric...love them!
Look at the cute pin cushion and Tag that Deb made!
Thanks Deb for being such a great friend!

The last time I had a giveaway it was from PrintRunner and was for stickers. It was won by  ColoradoLady and I was lucky to be offered the same prize.  I got them in the mail this week!
I made Tiger some book plates!
I found this great vintage bookplate at the Graphics Fairy!  She has the best free vintage graphics around!
Goes perfectly with one of the new thrifty books I found for Tiger!
Look at these great books about Owls!

I also recently got a great free offer from Shutterfly
for a photo magnet
I choose to get this great pic of Mom and I
It's on my refrigerator now!

Charlie said I hadn't posted his picture in a long time...ever since that 'Tiger' kid came along he feels neglected...so here you go Charlie!

In The Groove!

I am trying to be back in the groove and join in some of my favorite parties

I love this very small tin of Charles Chips I purchased from my friend Sherry.  It's a sampler tin from this famous snack company.

I found this adorable Morton Pottery cactus planter
(the cactus would be the tail....cute)
I only paid $1 for this guy!

Do you remember all the glass apple dishes I found on my road trip a few months ago?  Well I found these two small bowls, 60 cents each, and had to add them to my dish closet.  Oh yes, look for an Apple table in the fall!

Lastly I found these two black Fiesta plates at the thrift shop.  Pretty scratched up, but for 35 cents each they will be a great addition to my tablescaping!

I hope you will go by and check out these great blogs and their fun parties

Liberty & Freedom

I meant to get this posted last night but my
4th of July celebration got in the way!
Still I want to share my holiday tablescape with you!
I hope you aren't too tired of r,w & b
This table runner is a favorite with all the stars!
I used red placemats from the Dollar Tree
White plate and bowl Pfaltzgraff Heritage pattern found at a thrift store
I added a red salad plate and the blue star plates
I have two blue, two red and two white stars
Sara and Blake gave them to me a few years ago
for my Birthday and I love them!
White flatware, blue napkin with white napkin ring and a great colonial blue wine glass complete the place setting
All solids but I like it!
I want to honor the things that 4th of July stand for...
Freedom
Liberty!
Simple centerpiece....Gardenias (most have already bloomed but I found 3 and brought them in)  Candles on star plates and the Freedom & Liberty signs found on clearance at Hobby Lobby

I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July!
