I love glass and have been drawn to it since I was young. I love the wonderful vintage candy dishes I've been finding in the thrifts. Recently I found a new one in Green!
When I found this piece it was soooooo dirty!
Years of grime had accumulated in the raised design.
I soaked in soapy water and scrubbed it with a toothbrush to remove all the dirt!
Look at that shine!
This is made by Imperial Glass and is the Swirl and Lace Design and is a lovely Emerald color. I paid $3 for it and I am thrilled!

That is a pretty little dish.
Your header caught my eye - very Irish. Your dish is wonderful. I love it when I find a treasurer, hidden under dust and neglect, just waiting to shine when given a little love. Good job.
Love that candy dish. I am drawn to the dark green vintage glass. You really got a treasure and at $3 - you really did good.
Last summer I was attracted to anything glass at garage sales. It got to be a joke with my BFF sale partner. I couldn't stop myself! I so would of snagged your little green number for $3.00.

One thing I've learned to use in cleaning vintage glass items is denture cleaner. Have you tried it before?

I love this this piece Linda! I have the same one in gold. I would love to have more! thanks for joining TTF and have a wonderful day!
Love this piece! I could kick myself though as back in the 70's I had several pieces in this color and also in gold but I got rid of them when the avocado green and harvest gold went out of style!
If only I would have known!!
