Here it is the end of summer and time for an outdoor tablescape.  However, the heat and a small foot injury have kept me from doing that today.  Instead I'm going to share this fun tablescape from last summer.  So appropriate for Diann's Thrifty Tablescape Party since Diann gifted me with most of these great items.
Let's start shall we!
Now many of my readers know I have a collection of Flamingos which I blogged about Here
For my Birthday I received a huge box in the mail
Thank you Diann, Troy and the Princess!
I set this table outside on the deck
I started with these striped place mats from the box of goodies
Used the cute matching plates
Matching tea glasses and my blue handled silverware
I also have bowls and margarita glasses on a Flamingo tray
The Flamingo coasters were a birthday gift from another friend
Thanks Sandie
I had the pink napkins but the fish napkin rings came from the  amazing box!  Oh and the cute little Flamingos on each plate from the box!  Also the candle holders & tea lights..from the box!
I couldn't resist using my 'yard' flamingo as a centerpiece.  He is wondering what the heck is going on?
I only have one of these, really only one!!

When it gets dark beside the candles we can plug in the
Flamingo & Palm Tree Lights!
So there it is!  A fun Whimsical Flamingo tablescape.
The cost....almost nothing!
I was lucky to be gifted with everything except: napkins which were thrifted for $1, flatware also thrifted for under $4 and my yard Flamingo bought at Target for $ this is a thrifty table.
Thanks for joining me and I hope you drop by Diann's and check out all the other thrifty tablescapes!
Enjoy your weekend everyone!

I love the flamingos Linda. The yard flamingo in the potted plant is a clever idea. Our 96 year old neighbor fell and broke her hip and each member of her church buys flamingos for every sick members and places them in the yards of the sick members of their church. We woke up day before yesterday and her front yard was covered in pink flamingos. I wish I had taken a picture of them.~Ames

Love flamingos! I came home from work one day and our front yard was filled with plastic flamingos! A youth group was raising money and for $25 you could send the flock of 50 flamingos to a friend
s house! I quickly got on the phone and invited all our friends for supper ... got out all my flamingo patio plates ... and everybody had such a good time that they donated $$ to the cause, too! Thanks for sharing .. .thanks for visiting my site.

Love the big flamingo!

I think you need to gather a flock together, though..........

I would like to have a flamingo or two---just missed one at a yard sale not too long ago.

What's wrong with your foot? I hope it's nothing bad.
Yes I remember your fetish for flamingos, lol.
I brought a set home from Fla. and I had to throw them out. The sun faded them to nearly white. How do you keep yours so PINK?
Diann is a very generous gal. I've enjoyed her thrifty party.

Love all of your goodies!

This needs to be a Pink Sat. post!!! :)

This is one of the most FUN tablesettings (extended well beyond the table) that I have ever seen. So, is this in honor of your birthday or Charlie's? I am sure he also enjoys it.
